Q: Is the velcro attached to the foam?

Q: Is it the original pad or a fake as one of the buyers mentioned?

This is the first time i have bought one so don't know if it's a fake. The pad is very comfortable when i am squatting with a decent amount of weight. The logo hasn't faded and i have the pad a long while and use it regularly and the pad has also kept it's shape.

Q: My bar is not as thick as an Olympic, it’s just an Argos Opti bar so about 1 inch in diameter - would this hip thrust pad still wrap tight around it?

Not tightly. This is better suited for an Olympic bar. But if you don't mind it sliding on the bar, it will still do the job on the argos bar and protect you

Q: Would this work with an ez bar?

No. Just a normal olympic barbell.
