Seemed to work BUT….
I purchased this device in October 2021 as dr said my daughter’s constant sneezing was probably a dust mite allergy. It’s very unobtrusive, easy to use, the sneezing stopped almost immediately so was really happy. For almost all of 2022 we suffered from really extreme behaviour issues, seemingly very anxiety driven. Daughter was very withdrawn and seemed very depressed. Working with all sorts of agencies to resolve with no impact. For Xmas we got her something that needed to be plugged in and without thinking anything about it, I removed this plug with the intention of placing it in another and completely forgot to do it. In the two weeks or so since I did that, my daughter is almost back to her old self (still a bit stroppy at times but who isn’t!!??). The only thing that has changed in the house is the removal of this plug. So I can only assume she was sensitive to whatever it emits. This is in no way meant as a negative review, the plug worked to stop the sneezing rather than medication, just writing the review to make people aware in case they experience the same difficulties we did.

WOW!
My allergic GSD started her usual Springtime itching in February this year, and instead go easing off as usual, it got worse and worse culminating in a hotspot that overnight turned into one medium and one huge hotspot. She has never had hot spots before. After the first vet's visit she was prescribed NSAIDs because the vet thought she had sore hips due to the close proximity to the hot spots. I had to buy her an Elizabethan collar to try and stop her worrying the hot spots. I really didn't want to give my dog the pills as I try to do things with natural remedies, but I obviously took the vet's advice. After three days of NSAIDS with no improvement I stopped using them. I did manage to help clear up the hot spots by using raw organic cider vinegar (Bobby's) which worked really well, but didn't stop her biting and licking her legs and her coat. Next stop was back to the vet, this time for very very strong anti histamines, which again did absolutely nothing. I know my dog is allergic to dust mites because she was very itchy as a pup and was tested for allergens. I vaguely remembered the dust mite controller as I have had one before a few years ago, and when we moved it disappeared, and the itching had stopped. After moving house both my GSDs started itching again in the Spring. Anyway I bought the dust mite controller, and I can honestly say it has helped so very much even after a few days of constant use, and the effects have just got better and better as time goes on. My dogs live in the living room as my house is tiny, so the controller is next to their beds. So I have spent out £165 on the vet which the insurance won't pay for, for nothing. There is no more sitting down and scratching for England several times a day. No more hot spots, and no more madly licking and biting front legs and feet. For itching the very best immediate help is the Bobby's raw organic cider vinegar, just pour some on cotton wool and rub well in to the itchy bits. For long term protection use the Dust Mite Controller. I am now happy to have solved the problem, but am still annoyed at the waste of money at the vets.

I thought it was too good to be true, two weeks later I knew it was too good to be true!
I'm a long time sufferer from eczema and asthma, as in 20+ years of it. I've tried every inhaler, every form of cream/steroid to control them, I've tried near enough every herbal/gimmick remedy to cure it. Nothing has sorted it out. I'm at a point with it where I'm done trying to cure it, I just want it at bay so my arms aren't covered in weeping sores and I'm not gasping for breath after walking a few hundred meters. Last year I was diagnosed as being allergic to dust mites, knew it already but it was confirmed by dermatology. I upped my cleaning routine even more to prevent the little buggers having their fun. Never made the slightest difference. Tried humidifiers, air purifiers, dehumidifiers. Nothing works. When I saw a plug that for £15 was supposed to eliminate them for good, I laughed. Then thought why not what do I have to lose? Other than £15. Plugged it in my bedroom and prepared for greatness. Now I'm not a sceptic but on the first night I slept like a baby (had nothing to do with the fact that my 3 month old was staying at the mother in laws!) I woke up thinking I'd found some wonder cure. Roll on night 2. Restless sleep, still waking up itching, still lethargic in a morning (Now that's probably due to having the 3 month old back!) Two weeks later, I can honestly say I feel no different to how I felt two weeks prior, another "miracle" that can be added to the what a load of poop pile. Along with the diet pills that promise six packs and the Nigerian Princes who want to share their wealth. The only difference is my wallet is £15 lighter and I have an atrocious blue LED night light that makes it impossible to sleep with in because it's so bright. Unplugged and put in the cupboard when useless tat goes to die. Save your money, avoid.
