⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth Sticking With
I’d been having issues with my diesel going into limp mode from turbo overboost, which I was told was down to sticking vanes. Rather than dive straight into an expensive strip-down, I decided to try this first. I’ve actually used two bottles of Wynn’s Turbo Cleaner over the last few months, and I can say it really does help. The first bottle made some difference — the car felt a bit smoother and the boost wasn’t spiking as badly — but it was after the second treatment that I noticed a proper improvement. The turbo now spools much more cleanly, no sudden overboost, and the engine just feels healthier overall. It’s not an instant miracle fix, but if you’re patient and give it time to work through, it can save you a lot of hassle and money. For me, it’s been well worth it.

Points of Note Listed
1. This is for the Black Bottle, Wynns Professional Turbo Diesel Cleaner 2. The Professional version comes in 500ml, the normal retail bottle comes in 325ml, both are good. 3. I have a 2015 BMW 520D M Sport Auto. The car performed well before the Turbo Diesel cleaner, I emptied the contents of the bottle into the tank, and filled the tank to full. 4. After about 80 Miles I started to see a noticeable difference in responsiveness of the car. Not an imagined difference, a real difference, I could honestly feel it. It made a good car better. 5. I like that it also cleans the EGR valve without the need to take things apart to spray something into it. I suppose that's not applicable to a car that's broken down due to the EGR valve clogging with carbon, but as a routine maintenance for one that's not I think this stuff is good for both the Turbo and the EGR valve. I use this periodically, every 3rd tank. I do as follows Tank 1: Redex Injector Cleaner (cheap at tesco when half price) Tank 2: Redex DPF Cleaner (Same reason) Tank 3: Either Wynns Professional Diesel Turbo Cleaner or the normal purple 325ml bottle (both are good)... all 3 of these cleaners work well, and my car never breaks down (it's also serviced routinely) Think I'm wasting money? Think you won't bother? Well, let your Turbo Vanes get heavy with Carbon Deposits and the solenoid motor work harder till it burns out and your car goes into limp mode in the middle of the motorway (not it didn’t happen to me, because I learned from other people’s mistakes, that’s what smart people do) , and when your Turbo fails and the garage wants a grand or more for a new turbo and your car’s off the road for a few days, with no courtesy car given due to no facility to clean it to Covid levels… then you realise not keeping the Turbo clean is a false economy. Better to pay a little extra now regularly than have the hassle of the aforementioned later. Same goes for the DPF Cleaner and Injector Cleaners... and the added bonus is you get to drive a car that performs as well as it should, it feels like a new car to drive once everything's cleaned out.

Read on....
This product is good to maintain a clean engine. But if you have turbo issues, then this product is not going to fix it, especially if the VNT mechanism inside the turbocharger is blocked with carbon. All you are doing is wasting money and delaying the inevitable. Once you have a new turbocharger then this stuff is good to prevent build up of carbon all thanks to your EGR valve "emission crap" get your EGR deleted and now issues ever.

Wynns diesel turbo cleaner - engine warning light/limp mode.
Wynns Diesel turbo cleaner - Professional (black bottle), I have a BMW E91 320d, was getting intermittent engine warning light and would go into limp mode, after getting an ODB reader found it was the turbo not opening/closing correctly meaning overboost. Put this stuff in with 40L of shell ultimate diesel, worth a punt than the £1500+ cost to replace the turbo, well after about 15miles I tried to accelerate hard which always brought up the engine warning light and limp mode but today nothing, could not get the engine warning light to come on.. Was very sceptical but after reading some of the reviews of similar issues thought it was worth a go, no reason to beleive this wont last, fantastic..

Totally revived turbo
Amazing product. Our 2005 Skoda Octavia diesel had done just over 100,000 miles and the turbo started cutting out. At its worst it cut out nearly every time I came up the hill to our house. The last time I had a turbo cleaned it cost me £500 so before spending that sort of money again I thought I'd try an additive although I was only hoping for an improvement. How wrong I was. I chose this because of Wynne's reputation. I poured the full bottle into the empty tank and filled up with diesel. I had only used a quarter of a tank before the cutting out stopped altogether. Since the whole tank was used I noticed the engine was more responsive. I also noticed an unexpected bonus. On tickover there is now complete absence of the occasional slight bump and the engine just ticks over perfectly smoothly and sounds like a sewing machine. This didn't happen before for my £500 clean. This turbo cleaner obviously cleans more than just the turbo to achieve that. Our son has always liked our car, so bought himself a similar model, albeit a year older and with more miles. His turbo just occasionally cut out, so I told him about this product. He's now used it himself and got the same results as I have -including the smoother more responsive engine. He says he fèels like someone put a new engine in there. All this for fourteen quid. Incdedible. Highly recommended.

saved old car from scrap
I was extremely skeptical when i read reviews and purchased this product too many snake oil products which this ISNT!!!. Our 2006 ford smax always had a noisy turbo under load, but then when towing the car went to limp mode. I realised it was a fault on the turbo as it only happened over 2k revs under load so drove carefully to get the car home. The fault was scanned and came up as a turbo fault (performance something like that), i was quoted around £1000 to have the turbo reconditioned effectively writing off the old family bus. After talking to a mechanic and clearing the codes he recommended we added this to a full tank of diesel and used the car normally - it was a nothing to lose situation. After around 50 miles i noticed the turbo had quietened and the car seemed to be pulling much quicker with better fuel efficiency. I think the turbo fins had carbon deposits and this cleared most if not all of them off. I decided to use the car as the daily driver for work for a couple of weeks just to check fuel consumption (i do 150 miles per day round trip) and the car was returning a 55+ mpg after 2 tanks of diesel with no fault codes (the car had always returned between 40-44mpg before hand). We then tested with with the caravan on the back - hard acceleration no problem, the car pulls like a train again and hopefully will give us a few more years of service until we have no need for a large car. We are going to add this to the car on a 6 month rotation, im also adding it to my 2017 diesel octavia to keep her clean - although i havent had any real change in driving performance on that car as the turbo is in A1 condition still.

Easy to add to fuel
Added to my fuel when next filled up. Not sure whether it has done any good but engine seems to be running a little better but can’t really confirm
