Easy install and really cleans up the look of the front end

If you are going to run the Tyger stubby JL bumper you are going to want this lower skid plate attachment. It will look weird without it and also leave components exposed to potential damage. It's worth the added cost and ties everything together nicely. It's not extremely heavy duty but I think it's a good balance of adequate strength to keep weight down.

Love it, looks great.... you lose your wheel protection with the length, but you know that prior to purchase. This was a great purchase, and I would buy another.

Terrible description. Was told that it fit my Jeep and when it came I found that it was only compatible with the ugly bumper they sell. And don’t get me started on the return process. It’s been weeks and still getting the runaround being told it could still be a few more weeks before I’m refunded my money. Trash on every level which is good because the product was awful even if it had fit.

Huge fan of Tyger products here. I've been waiting for this skid plate to be released since I purchased my Tyger Stubby bumper a year ago. I love that all of the Tyger products I have shopped and purchased for my Wrangler have been no drill installation. Unfortunately, this is not to be the case with this skid, which I found out after purchase and during installation. Pros: Well made product. Nice aesthetics. As always, the powder coat finish is flawless. Super easy install with clear instructions. It will look great on my early JK model. Cons: If you have a Tyger Fury Stubby Bumper model that was released BEFORE this skid plate was developed, it will not have the pre-drilled bottom slots that the skid plate attaches to in step 4, and drilling will be required. If you have the current Tyger Fury Stubby Bumper production model developed AFTER skid plate development, this skid plate will be a true no-drill super duper easy installation. In my opinion, the above is an important note that should be disclosed in the product information. Hopefully this information helps others looking for this skid plate make a decision on whether or not they're willing to drill, or simply be certain they have the right tools on hand.

The bumper this installs to is just okay. The skid plate itself is super nice and installation was easy.

I bought this with the bumper listed , at first was hesitant since some reviews said it looked flimsy - well let me tell you - I came down onto an unexpected rock at the bottom of a burm and not only did the skid plate absolutely obliterate the rock in question ( there was literally rock dust all over the plate), but after washing off, it didn't even scratch the coating! I would not hesitate to get this if you buy the bumper, which is also tough as nails.
