This PAIZOO digital thermometer has been a great addition to my reef tank setup. The display is bright and easy to read from several feet away, even in low light. It updates quickly and consistently matches my other temperature probes within a tenth of a degree, so I trust the accuracy. Installation is simple — just attach the sensor to the inside of the tank and mount the display on the outside glass. The cable length is generous, and it’s neat enough to keep your setup looking clean. Pro tip: mount the probe away from heaters or return lines for the most stable readings. For the price, it’s an excellent piece of gear — reliable, accurate, and perfect for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Thermometer works very well. You just secure it to the side of the glass and it’ll display temp readings after you press the button. It’s a “set it and forget it” type deal. Very simple to use I did have it paired with a different brand of thermometer in the same tank and they both gave similar readings, so it’s likely very accurate and reliable

I used one of those cheap stick-on strip thermometers on my 20-gallon tank for about a year. It worked okay, but after upgrading to a 40-gallon and seeing one of these digital touch thermometers on a coworker’s shrimp tank, I decided to give it a try—especially since it was only about $10. ✅ What I Like: Way more accurate than the strip ones. With this, I actually trust the temperature readings—super important when you're dealing with sensitive fish or shrimp. Easy to read and use: The touch display is quick to check with just a tap. I find myself absentmindedly touching it every time I walk by—it’s oddly satisfying. Good adhesion so far: It’s stuck on well for a few months now. It did fall off once, but I’m 99% sure that was my cat’s fault. There were some suspicious paw smudges and cat hair around the area… Clean design: It doesn’t clutter the look of the tank and is simple to install. ⚠️ Minor Notes: The adhesive pad is decent but not industrial-strength. If you have curious pets (like mine), maybe keep it higher on the tank out of reach or reinforce with a backup adhesive if needed. Doesn’t have advanced features: Just a basic thermometer—but honestly, that’s all I wanted. 💡 Final Thoughts: If you’re still using the stick-on strip thermometers, this is a big step up for just a few more dollars. It’s simple, accurate, and looks nice on the tank. Definitely worth picking up—especially for larger tanks where stable temperature is even more important.

Bought this to use as a quality control thermometer for my heater. Always matches up within a degree (which is fine because I’m my aquarium needs to stay between 76&80 generally). Been using it a couple weeks and it works easily. Display is easy to read and I am confident the battery life will be long due to the power saving aspect. You just touch the button and it shows the temp for a few seconds before shutting back off. Installation was a breeze and I wish I didn’t wait so long to get one of these for peace of mind. I do have the temperature sticker that came with my tank as well but this just seemed more reliable.

Bought on August 27th 2023 - Died on December 25th 2025. Worked great up until today!!

I have 3 tanks and all 3 have one of these thermometers on them. 2 tanks also have the sticker thermometers and they seem to be matched up pretty well in accuracy for monitoring the temperature of my tanks. I have had one of them for almost a year now and the battery seems to still going strong, I do think the tap to reveal function seems to preserve the battery. I havent had any issue with them falling off the tanks, I even moved one from one tank to another when I bought a new tank to replace an old one and the stickiness was never affected. They clean easily with a quick mirofiber buff. For the price and the quality I have experienced, I think these are worth it.

I was skeptical about this product because it sits on the outside of the aquarium with a sensor on that back of it. When it arrived in the package it was around 33 degrees. I brought it in and opened the package and it read 37 degrees. I thought that was accurate because it was inside a package. The temperature started to raise since it was warmer in the house. Put it on the aquarium and it seems to be accurate. Display is clear and I like the look.

Sleek design, not bulky or ugly. Had it on my 75 gallon and now have it on my 220 and it's very accurate compared to my temperature set heaters. The back is super sticky but can be transferred and put on another tank. It isn't a permanent stick or once it's on a surface and moved it loses its stick. Great product. (Bottom middle of my photo)
