These are a great addition for those using paracord door limiter straps. Thread the paracord loops over this, then fit this over the limiter pin on the inside, and voila! Now you can quickly remove or install the strap for door removal (1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ).

This product is made with the wrong material (shatters when trying to install), was the wrong size on he outside diameter (unable to fit into the hinge smoothly) and was the wrong inside diameter (the hinge pin would not fit through the hole). I truly don't understand how you can possibly get absolutely everything wrong with a product that is supposed to fit a specific vehicle application such as this, but yet somehow it was done. Amazon was great on the refund, but what I won't be compensated for is the damage that was done to my vehicle by trying to remove this after it was stuck in the hinge.

These hinge pin liners should be much better than the originals, which are beyond worn out! Easy to install, and a good price!

These do not work. I removed my old door hinge bushings out that were metal and tried installing the new bushings on and they kept breaking as I tried using the tool they provided. It took about 10 mins trying to install them with some penetrating oil. The plastic is too brittle. The product should be shorter as well to be able to fit properly. After the second set installed I tried putting my door on and my door would not seat all the way down. Yes they are cheap for a reason. I would recommend looking for possibly brass bushings

Follow the directions. Find a how to on utube. Older Jeeps tend to have tons of corrosion making removal of old inserts difficult.

I am ok with the kit that I bought. Only problem was the bushings were not tight to push in and very easy to come out. I had to put some RTV on them to glue them in to keep them from falling out when the door is off. Also the tool to remove the old factory bushings was a little small and went into the old ones and got stuck.. Overall I was able to use the kit but some improvements could be done as in making the removal tool, slightly larger and the bushings them selves a little larger to fit tighter.. If no improvements are done then you should send twice as many bushings so when they fall out in the wind with the doors off , you have extras to cary with you...

Quick delivery, the pins fit perfectly. Easy to install, my husband is very happy with them. They work just fine in his old jeep.

These are not the proper thickness/diameter. I removed the original bushings with the provided tool and these just dropped in with no resistance. When I installed the door, they stuck to the door hinge; but the fit on the body hinges was very loose. It also stuck to the door when I removed it. By contrast, I ordered some Delrin replacements that were snug on both the body and door hinges without slop. The conclusion: the plastic is not the correct dimensions. If it were, it would be snug on both halves.

Do not fit the door hinges and just fall out when you remove the doors DO NOT waste your money

Worked well but also were a little tight fit on my CJ but then again not having the Jeep since new they might of been Completely different hinges then what it came with.
