I’ve put this 1 star review under full marks because I think amazon will HIde the review ! So no this is not a good quilt cover. It’s a FIRE 🔥 risk ! I smoke roll ups , this quit melts in a weird way if you even drop your roll up on it for half a second! It melts as it has thick patterns on it that are like paint, this is why the quilt is hard feeling. Do you must NOT use this if you are a smoker. I’ve had several quilts before and yes occasionally you will get a slight mark if a hot bit of ash drops onto a quilt but usually a quit cover can withstand melting ! This product has not been fireproofed in a normal way. So it’s no good for smokers as it’s extraordinarily dangerous. No roll up cigarette should melt through in a second like this is doing. It’s a nice enough yet very uncomfortable quilt if you are not a smoker , but if you are forget it as the fabric has dyes that melt and could set fire very quickly. Another lady on here said her quilt melted in her washing machine! I believe her ! This is like it’s made of paper ! Dangerous! Lastly, it marks from everything! A newspaper, a letter , if you drop a bit of crisp on it , I found everything marked it and will not come out when you try to clean it. So this is an honest review, it looks nice at first don’t be deceived! It will look old and haggard in a few days !! I’ve had fantastic quality from cheap quilt covers before, safe just thinner etc. I’m going back to joules sale bedding it’s top of the range , safe and does not mark or melt like this does. You get what you pay for and this cheap crap is dangerous! No I do not recommend this item , no way ! Shame as the pattern is nice, but melts in washing machine and won’t clean so it’s useless in every way. The hardness is where the dye for the pattern is too thick and clearly not fire retardant but instead it’s likely to act like a piece of plastic or paper when it gets hot for any reason, even simply washing it melts it ! If your sick and house/bed bound forget this , it’s a hazard.

Bought for a Christmas present for someone who loves stags. Nice quality and different stags heads featured throughout. They were happy, so 5/5

Thanks to the reviewers for confirming the colours of the checked stags heads are plum and green, as I was specifically looking for a duvet set with plum to match my curtains! Note the main background colour is beige (not cream, in case it isn't obvious from the photos). I was dubious about purchasing this after reading the mixed reviews but decided to take a chance as I love the design. My expectations weren't very high because quality (soft) duvets are more expensive on the whole and I knew I couldn't expect a lot for around £25. I've given this 4 stars which I'm being generous with as I'm torn between 3 or 4 stars, but I've also got to take into account the small price paid (if I'd paid more then it would definitely score 3 stars). I agree it's not the softest, even after washing with the softener drawer full to the top with fabric conditioner, but we've slept under it with no issues and it's not incredibly rough either! When you pay a lot more for a quality duvet set you often find the weave is denser, making it softer and smoother. This isn't the best quality fabric though I'm sure there's worse! I've attempted to take a close up of the fabric weave in one of my photos. There are a few imperfections in the fabric and some tiny marks, but nothing that's really noticeable unless you know where to look! As one of my photos shows, a pillow case was stitched at an angle going towards a corner, which is odd, but luckily you don't notice when its on the pillow. The pillow cases have the stag head design on one side and checks on the other. My cover looks fairly creased but I didn't iron it and dried it on a clothes airer where it had got a bit scrunched up, so I know I could have made more of an effort! To sum up, this is OK for the price, it will do for a while as a spare set until I can find something I like better one day, and the old saying still stands, "you get what you pay for".

Il colore e la fantasia sono carini, ma il tessuto non è dei migliori, è molto ruvido. Inoltre non ha tanta stoffa nella parte finale ma finisce con il piumino e quindi si tira fuori da sotto il materasso abbastanza di frequente.

Era un regalo y le ha gustado mucho. Se adapta bien a la medida de la cama, la textura no es rígida o incómoda y cabe bien un edredón nórdico dentro
