Easy to use, bright, and great quality for the price
This Artograph LED Tracer Opaque Art Projector is excellent in terms of ease of setup and ease of use. It was simple to get started right out of the box, and the controls are straightforward without a steep learning curve. The size is just right for a workspace — compact enough to fit comfortably on a table, but large enough to handle projects without feeling cramped. The overall quality feels solid and well made, not flimsy or cheap. The brightness is very good, making projected images clear and easy to see, even when enlarging artwork. This makes it especially useful for tracing and detailed art projects. For the value for the money, this projector is a great buy. It performs exactly as expected, works reliably, and delivers strong brightness and quality for the price. Overall, it’s a dependable tool for artists and hobbyists and a purchase I’m very happy with.

Fun for artists.
Works really well in the dark and 2feet from wall. Once you move 4 feet from wall the picture is about 2ft wide but more blurry and dim. Still works great for tracing. Easy to use even for younger folks.

Very Nice!
I have been wanting to do some wall murals and finally bought this guy. It works very well for tracing onto other surfaces i.e. a wall. Your photo or drawing must be 4x4 to project the entire design but I found that I can just scan my design, download and change the size in printer settings, and print out a 4x4 copy of the design or pboto..Voila! It will project color however I wanted to see clearly what I was doing so mine is in black and white. For those still trying to find an overhead projector that doesn't smoke or have electrical issues, get this!! So easy to use once you figure out how you resize your original. DEFINITELY recommend!! The photo is of the actual projection of a design I'm currently now about to paint. One suggestion make sure you do not move the projector once you've got your design in place, if you walk away and it's moved, it can be difficult to re-align a detailed design lol. I spent several SEVERAL minutes getting it in just the right spot to finish tracing after I had walked away for a day and came back to find it wasn't lined up and off by just a hair which can be very frustrating. All in all this works perfectly for projecting!! Dark room for sure needed. Great buy and price.

DO NOT BE SCAMMED WITH THIS RUBBISH
This is a complete waste of money. It doesn't work at all. At first I thought I needed to shut the window blinds and make it more dark. Nope, that wasn't it. The image is blurry and when you go to pull out the lens, it can get really lose and even fall off. Re-threading it is next to impossible. I almost couldn't get it back on. Then there is the lens on the underside. Really? You have to move your image from the bottom in tiny movements. Now you might be thinking, but the product description said this. Yes and no. The actually size of the opening is ludicrous. The tiny increment movements only to have to bring it into focus time and time is ridiculous. Try teaching 30 antsy elementary students while you try to bring this thing into focus several times in one class period. Just forego it, and do your drawings on your white board or chalkboard. Another thing: it is super lightweight and cheap. And you will be hard-pressed to find the proper lightbulb. Like, go to at least 4 different stores to find one that a) will fit, b) produce the right amount of light (no amount is enough with this piece of rubbish), and c) needs to be LED. Once you have chased all over the city for the correct lightbulb, you will go to use it, and find that it is a scam. I'd return it in a second (hey, I thought there was a 1-year warranty), but apparently the seller took the Return option down. Unbelievable!

Works okay after spending $12 for a brighter LED bulb
I read the reviews and knew that this unit had some issues. I was hoping that a bright bulb would really help... it did a bit. It is hard to get a good focus on anything that does not have great contrast and clarity. A coloring book image would probably work well. A photograph, not so much. I was an art teacher for years and had a big opaque projector that was wonderful. I often wonder what ever happened to it. I have been unable to find one that worked as well.

Tracer
Many decades ago in the 60's and early 70's I used one of these tracers and they used a simple bulb and worked great. After many years it stopped working and never saw another one like it until now . It is designed a little different but works identical as they use to They recommend a specific bulb and when using that bulb this tracer works flawlessly and is very bright and clear . I have a larger projector but using it can be difficult because it is large This Tracer is easy to use and can be used just about anywhere . If it lasts as long as the old one I had decades ago, it is worth every penny If I remember correct the one years ago was bought for about $10 dollars and that seemed like a lot back then compared to todays prices Recommend this tracing projector for any artist and for any craft work
