However for about month she's had a string of games where she really struggled to get on base. It wasn't for lack of contact to the ball. She was putting the ball into play constantly with her 2022 DeMarini CF (-10) 31"/21 oz. but it seemed to have lost the pop it once had. Time for an upgrade. So we got out the 2023 DeMarini Whisper (-10) 32"/22 oz. Her very first impression was the weight felt weird. It definitely feels weighted differently compared to the very balanced CF. Having said that, the end weight isn't slowing her down and she's already used to it after a few days of practice. Best thing is the pop is great and she's getting on base again haha.
