Sturdy, equal length poles, easy to assemble.
I've bought 4 of these over the past few years, I don't use it as an obelisk though it'd be a great obelisk if I did, I imagine it can hold a lot of weight. It's well made and the poles haven't rusted even with the wet winters we're having. I've used them for the past 4 years or so. The poles are a little less shiny though, if I'm being picky! The way I use this product is: I assemble the poles, then push them into the ground until the top of the bend is on the top of my 6ft (2m) fence, then I screw the top part (in the 'dip' where you'd attach the poles together for an obelisk) into the top of my fence. With the poles evenly spaced (to accommodate plant spread), this supports my tomato plants and trailing veggies (such as cucumber, beans etc) perfectly along the bed along my fence line. I can fit a lot of veggie plants in like this but this is also great for my climbing roses and the like, covering my fence nicely and evenly. Anyway, once the poles are fixed, the poles line up around where the screws pop out of the back in their sections. I then cross the upright poles with bamboo poles, resting them/zip-tied on and from thereibcan attach netting for veg plants that put out climbers. It's super sturdy (one pole can safely hold a butternut squash plant but larger pumpkins need support) and doing it this way it's really easy to tie up plants as they grow. I have a garden that faces the sea so I get very strong winds; this is the best way I've found for keeping my plants from wind damage or breaking (don't tie them up too tight). I like this particular obelisk because it's strong, black in colour and a reasonable price. In comparison to all the poles/obelisks I've tried, this is definitely the best one. It's easy to assemble and lightweight, sturdy and fit for purpose. Once ordered, the obelisks arrived promptly and packaged well, no damage to box or poles. The poles are identical, the same height and width, screw holes at the same distance and all fittings are supplied.

Obelisk review
I think this obelisk good for the price, obviously don't know how it will survive the winter but seems to be quite well made. Easy enough to assemble. Will possibly buy another one.

Excellent value – well constructed.
Excellent value – though obviously not as sturdy as a welded frame. Quite easy to assemble, probably easiest to start from the top and work downwards! The paint seems to have been applied thoroughly, which should protect it from the rain and eventually rust. Only time will tell how long-lasting this product is. Good for smaller climbing roses, sweet peas, wisteria et cetera.

No instructions
Looks like fairly good piece of kit. Quite robust but when they say easy to install that’s rubbish. I’m on my own and when I saw easy to install on website I thought I’d buy two. I’ve been on the job for :hours and still not assembled it. There is one piece of paper with all the parts but it looks like there are tubes with screwed ends No. A set of instructions are ESSENTIAL WHEN YOURE TRYING ON YOUR OWN. Looks great but like the leaning tower of pisa. I’ll try again tomorrow this is today. Absolutely useless. The pieces don’t fit

Assemble as in alphabetical order, less fiddly.
For the cost the product it is excellent, a bit fiddly to assemble but no big deal.

Low cost but does the tick just fine.
I went for cost over quality and whilst these really aren’t very great quality they’ve done the job and are holding up my rose as well. I expect they will rust pretty quickly though!

Great value, easy assembly.
Great value, simple instructions. Start building at the top - finger tight, then nip off tight for stability. Nice size.
