I don't often write reviews but I'm so impressed with this purchase, it would only be right to!!After a fair bit of research in to different projector screens, as well as looking in to making my own, I finally opted for this one due to it's small footprint and portability. Tripod screens take up a deceptively large amount of floor space due to their legs.First off, lets talk about the delivery: I ordered this on a Sunday morning and it arrived Monday lunch-time. I didn't even know that was possible!! Great stuff.The screen itself is simple to operate and built in to its case, no assembly required! Just undo the latches, open the lid to the case and pull the screen up. The smooth hydraulic system that supports the screen allows it to hold itself at whatever height you want it. When you're done, just lower the screen down back in to the case and hey presto! Everyone who has seen it has been impressed with the build quality and ease of use, especially for such a large screen (2m x 1.5m) - a couple of friends have actually gone and bought their own since.This screen is perfect for presentations or for event projections. When it's not being used out and about, I use it at home for our home cinema. While it isn't as good as some dedicated cinema screens, the matt finish still holds up well for HD projections. The screen itself is an off-white with a slightly textured surface - not ideal for close up viewing but looks great from a distance of 2m or more.The only gripe, which many people have pointed out on here, is the strong plastic/vinyl smell from the screen when it's up. It definitely pongs when you first get it and I can imagine it would give you a headache in a small, un-ventilated room from new. I left mine to air outside with the screen up during the day and the smell went in no time at all.All in all, I'm really happy with this purchase. Best thing I've bought in a while and at £100, it's a steal!

This is so easy to set up, because it sits firmly on the floor, is raised easily and stops where you put it. Aspect ratio is 4:3 but the bottom edge is only about half-a-metre from the floor, so if it stands on the floor the top half of the unit makes an excellent widescreen. If you want to make use of the whole 4:3 screen the unit is best placed on a table (in a room with a high enough ceiling!) It is suitable for a home room because, unlike a tripod, the footprint is small (although long), and you don't need to raise all the screen for a small group of people. It's equally fine in a large hall. A lot of different people are going to be using the one I bought, so I have stuck a yellow label on the handle supports on the box (the only place a label will stick on the box) with memo TURN FEET - BEFORE OPENING. And stuck a green label HOLD THIS on the handle you grip to raise the screen. That's all the instructions needed. Stable, idiot proof and it gives a great picture.

After the other reviews mentioned a strong smell of paint I was reluctant to take this unit out of its crate. But maybe because I've been using in in cold weather (indoors) I've noticed barely any smell at all. Amusingly there are no instructions enclosed, just a slip of paper with a QR code, but when you download the instructions they are so brief they could easily have fitted them on to that slip of paper. Open, lift, use, push down, close, done. Don't let it get dirty but if it does wipe it with a damp cloth. The only serious complaint I have is that there is a slight curl on the left edge of the screen so about 15% of the image has soft focus, which is frustrating. I still managed to enjoy watching TV on it though. I presume the screens a bit like this you pay ten times the price for don't have this problem, but I didn't want to pay ten times the price. For what I paid it's great value and easy to use. Oh, and it's a big item, easily two metres long - not easy to stash. Luckily I have a garage.

Absolutely fantastic quality and great price

Great quality, speedy delivery, good price!Can easily move around to wherever you want it. Simple to assemble and pack away in its sturdy case when not in use. Used with our Samsung projector. Would highly recommend.

Was a little worried about purchasing this after fingers burnt recently with some online purchases (though have to say that, as always, when using Amazon it has been easy to return items - NOTE: am not referring to this vendor).The screen arrived really quickly (though annoyingly with one of those delivery companies that work 0730 - 1730 Mon - Fri - thankfully we have nice neighbours though who took it in for us).The item is incredibly easy to use - it just glides right in/out of the stand nice and smoothly. The screen quality is excellent and we have really enjoyed watching movies on it.I read some reviews that mentioned the smell - and it does a little bit but nothing that you wouldn't expect with a new item of this type. We just left it up over the weekend and by the end of Sunday it was no longer noticeable.The screen rolls down into its integrated case (reminds me of a snooker cue case) and could be stored under a bed (our bed is a little low so we couldn't quite get it under and have kept it behind the sofa instead).Really pleased with this produce and glad we bought it. Think it's a total bargain at little more than a hundred pounds (which nowadays amounts to about five pairs of tickets for to the cinema!) Just only wish I had bought it in the winter to help pass all those early dark nights and miserable weekends......
