I bought these as part of a set of home-use Gel UV nails that I wanted to start using. I also bought a Lamp, alcohol wipe, and a shade of colour. This had decent reviews, and slightly cheaper than some of the other brands. It works very well and already feel ive made a saving had I gone to the Salon just once. Due to the nature of my job I constantly wash my hands, and felt constant moistening of my nails had made then thin & they kept slicing (like onion skin layers). Im not allowed coloured nail varnish at work (or even clear for that matter!) but for the sake of my nails I went to a Salon to try Gel clear polish. As I wanted no colour, my local salon charged me £15 for clear base&top coat. I did notice my nails were able to grow a little further than normal (during the 2 weeks I had it on). Thats why I decided to buy my own kit for home - I think its perfectly doable for anyone, no need to be qualified in beauty! I have used it once at home - been on for over a week now and absolutely fine. My nails do feel stronger and are able to grow. I dont know enough about any of the products to know the genuine difference between CND, Bluesky or anything else out there, but I just tried Bluesky because it was reasonably priced with decent reviews. I just feel the bottles are a little small - but then again I have noticed most UV Gel Nail polishes tend to be - maybe because you use a small amount once every 3-4 weeks (depending on how well they last!)

I decided I wanted to do my own shellac nails at home as having them done at the salon was getting expensive. I was initially looking into purchasing CND products or Gelish but as they are professional salon products they are quite expensive. I came across Bluesky and decided to give it a go purely on the reasonable price of the products. I have now used the products and am very happy with the results, they definitely do the job and I can not tell the difference between the polish I have done at home compared to the salon service. The products are quite thick compared to normal polish so be sure to apply thin coats and after applying the topcoat and letting it cure under UV make sure you wipe your nails over with alcohol solution as this sets the polish. I cannot comment on how long lasting my nails are as I only done them a few days ago but I'm sure they will last 2 weeks. Would recommend these products:-)

I am not a nail technician, I just like doing nails at home. For about a year I was going to the salon and having CND shellac put on as well as brisa enhancements. Now the polish wasn't awful but on my nails I was always able to make a dent and it would always chip at the top. I just thought this was meant to happen and it was just my nails ( I have very small nail beds and short nails and apparently pretty oily beds as well). Also with CND I found it just popped off and if I was bored, I could just peel the polish off my finger with no obstacle. If you are a picker like me CND is not the answer. I thought this would be exactly the same... not at all. I have no chipping, or lifting yet as well as no loss of shine, no dents, no smudges, just nothing. I cure for 3 minutes as I am not the best painter and thought that if I applied it thick it wouldn't cure. I was wrong, literally you could do anything with this and it will still make them look perfect. I think 2 minutes would be enough for most people. This is fullproof. And my new HG polish range. I used navy seals in between the base and top, it looks awesome! No doubt this will last for 2 weeks + on my nails. Just buy it and have fun painting! Diese Produkt ist ein Traum und ich würde am liebsten 10 Sterne geben!! Vorweg kurze Info zu mir: Ich habe keinerlei Nageldesign-erfahrungen , ich lackier mir einfach regelmäßig die Nägel mit Nagellack ( einfarbig...french überfordert mich z.b.schon komplett). Mein Problem: Die Faulheit! Ich will schon immer tolle gepflegte Fingernägel, aber ab dem 2 Tag sehen die Nägel schon nicht mehr Top aus nach meiner hingebungsvollen Lackiererei. Hab mir auch schon diese völlig überteuerten Lacke für 12 Euro bei rossmann und Co gegönnt und die halten dann nen bombigen Tag länger, aber das wars dann auch. Deswegen bin ich so unglaublich glücklich, wenn ich jetzt auf meine Nägel gucke und freue mich total über diese wirklich geniale Erfindung!! Also der olle Naggellack hat jedenfalls für immer ausgesorgt! Deswegen kann ich garnicht verstehen, wie die negativen Bewertungen zustande kommen. Vermute hierbei eher verängstigte Profis, die um Ihre Kundschaft bangen! Hatte übrigens bislang noch nie sowas im Haus gehabt , also kann es mit keinem Produkt dieser Art vergleichen. Ich hab nun tolle Nägel . Sie glänzen ohne Ende, da splittert nicht ein Minifitzel und ich hau den ganzen Tag auf eine Tastatur und der eigene Nägel wird optimal verstärkt. Hab dieses Set ( Base- und Topcoat) bestellt plus diverse Farben von blue sky. Habe den ersten Farblack 5 Tage getragen und war dann leider schon so neugierig auf die nächste Farbe, außerdem wollte ich unbedingt wissen , wie ich das ganze abbekomme . Meine Nägel waren nach 5 Tagen genauso schön wie am ersten Tag . Keine Splitter, keine Kratzer und toller Glanz. Ich hab sie wirklich nur aus reiner Neugierde so früh entfernt. So dann zu meiner Vorgehensweise: Zuerst bring ich die Nägel in Form. dann schmiere ich ruhig reichlich Nagelhautentfernergel auf die Nagelhaut ( ca.1,50 Euro bei dm( essence)und schiebe dann die Häute mit einem rosenholzstäbchen nach hinten. Man sollte ruhig auch ein wenig aber sanft über den Nägel streichen, weil sich die Nagelhaut auch schon ganz dünn auf den nagel vorgekämpft haben kann. Hierbei sollte man wirklich ganz genau sein, weil sich durch die Nagelhaut Luftblasen bilden könnten und dann hält auch der stärkste Lack nicht mehr. Danach wasch ich mir für Hände mit Seife und bürste meine Nägel mit einer Nagelbürste / Habdbürste ( rossmann/dm ca.2-3 Euro, sollte man immer in Haus haben :)) ab. Danach kann man bei Bedarf nochmal die Häute nach hinten schieben. Dann schnapp ich mir einen Buffer( Pfeile mit einer wirklich Ultra feinen Körnung) und gehe nur ganz kurz über die Nägel . Dieser Schritt ist glaub ich aber nicht zwingend notwendig , hab es halt irgebdwo gelesen und selber übernommen .Danach nehm ich mir ein Wattepad ( hierbei wären diese fuselfreien papierstücke besser geeignet , aber wattepads hab ich halt immer im Haus) und entfette die Nägel mit Nagellackentferner OHNE Aceton. Danach trage ich den Basecoat auf. Das ist jetzt nur mein Tipp: ich tupfe ein bisschen davon auf Folie und lackiere dann mit dem lippenpinsel von Rossmann( ca. 2 Euro) die einzelnen Nägel. Ich kann damit irgebdwie viel besser umgehen . wichtig ist hierbei , dass man niemals !!! Die Nagelhaut bepinseln darf und dass die spitzen peinlich genau ummantelt werden müssen. Dann gehts ab in die Lampe ( hab mir da eine uv-Lampe bei Amazon gegönnt für ca.16 Euro- 4 leuchtröhren + 2 min- Timer -- perfekt!). Danach schnapp ich mir den farbigen Lack und trage diesen dünn auf. Ab jetzt benutze ich übrigens wieder die gelieferten Pinsel. 2 min unter die Lampe und schon kommt die zweite dünne schickt drauf. Dann gehts nochmal 2 Minuten unter die Lampe. Zum Schluss kommt dann der Topcoat drauf. Niemals die nagelhäute bepinseln und die spitzen super bearbeiten. Ich geh dann immer zu Sicherheit nochmal mit einen holzstäbchen unter den Nägeln entlang , weil ein bisschen kann man ja trotzdem mal kleckern . So und dann gehts nochmal 2 min Unters Licht. Dann schnappt ihr euch ein wirklich durchnässtes Wattepad mit Nagellackentferner OHNE aceton und wisch jeden Nägel einzelnd ab . Und Zack habt ihr wunderschöne Nägel. Nun zum entfernen. Hab ja die wildesten Sachen vorher gelesen!! Also bei mir ging es super ab und ich bräuchte kein schleifgerät oder andere Horrorinstrumente! Und das wichtigste: mein Nagel sah wirklich gut aus.Da sollte man mal meinen Nägel nach der Nutzung von Glitzernagellack sehen, da können die Nagelschützer auf die Balustrade gehen ;) So was ich benutzt hab: Wattepads ( ich viertel die, 1/4 reicht für einen Nagel), alufolie oder kleine Gummis, rosenholzstäbchen, Nagellackentferner MIT aceton ( rossmann ca. 1,49 von Rival Young) , eine Nagelfeile ( ich nehm die für Kunstnägel / Nageldesign von rossmann für ca 1,49 Euro)und zum Schluss öl( nagelöl oder nehmt bratöl... Einfach Fett zum pflegen ). So dann fiele ich kurz alle Nägel einmal von oben an. Ich geile da jetzt nichts wirklich runter, sondern es geht hier lediglich darum die glänzende Versiegelung anzurauen, damit das aceton wunderbar Wirken kann. Dann rein ich die Nägel kurz mit den wirklich durchnässten !! Wattepad- nagellack- Fetzen ein und leg pro Nagel einen Fetzen drauf. Dann befestige ich die mit alufolie, aber ich persönlich hab später festgestellt, dass ich das viel besser fand , wenn man die fetten mit Gummis befestigt , die man im den Finger wickelt . Legt euch nen zewa darunter, wenn ihr es richtig macht , werdet ihr ein bisschen Tropfen ;) So dann hab ich das 12-14 Minuten einwirken lassen. Habe dann den ersten Nägel befreit und mit der dünnen spitzen Seite des rosenholzstäbchens von oben in den Lack gepikt und Zack ist der ganze Lack mürbe und ihr könnt ihn wunderbar abkratzen. Bei mir ging das echt super und ich hab wirklich null meinen Nägel verletzt . Wenn etwas hartnäckiger war , dann einfach kurz nochmal aceton drauf. So und danach streich ich dir Nägel schön mit Öl ein, lasse es kurz einwirken und zum Schluss kann man vll die letzten Mini Rückstände sanft runterschieben. Und tadaa es kann wieder von vorn losgehen . Also wirklich ein tolles Produkt , schnelle Lieferzeit und Preis/Leistung ist hierbei nicht zu toppen!! Achso und ganz zum Schluss : ich habe für das Entferne und Neumachen der Nägel 2 Std gebraucht, aber ich bin erstens noch ein Neuling und zweitens hab ich das ganz entspannt mit Musik angepackt und hatte es nicht eilig. Also es ist wohl durchaus zeitlich noch was rauszuholen:)

Compra realizada para mi novia. Le doy 5 estrellas por su duración, ya que llevo más de 3 semanas con el mismo esmaltado y no ha perdido nada de brillo ni se ha desconchado, mis uñas estan todavía perfectas. Elegí una manicura de media luna para poder despreocuparme del paso del tiempo, ya que con este tipo de manicura se disimula mejor la parte de la uña que va creciendo. Además, para evitar que salte el esmalte, se debe tener cuidado de no llegar a la cutícula, ya que si llegas, lo más probable es que al cabo de una semana salte de esa zona. Lo utilicé con el color Tinted Love de la misma marca. Bluesky Gel Nail Polish, Tinted Love 10 ml Para quitar el acabado pegajoso que deja el esmaltado en gel, utilicé Alcohol de Limpieza y de Quemar del Eroski, ya que la composición principal de los Cleaner o Cleansers es Alcohol Isopropílico, y es exactamente lo que lleva, además de perfume, lo cual no altera el producto. Tambien se puede comprar en la mayoría de droguerías sin perfume, pero no les quedaba cuando fui. De esta manera ahorras mucho dinero ya que el litro está a unos 2€ en Eroski y en la droguería unos 5€. Tambien venden en el Mercadona y supongo que en otros supermercados.

This base and top coat from BlueSky are great. I do both gel and acrylic <not at the same time of course!> and I use these to polish after 'm done, ad my nails look like they were just done for up to 3 weeks. No chipping or turning yellow. Great stuff!
