I've never owned one of these before and I've got to say, unfortunately this beauty isn't mine! It's a present for my son who has asked 'Santa' for one. I was very impressed with it! Well packaged but not excessively over packed. Clear assembly instructions came with this so you'll have no real issues during assembly! You don't need any tools to assemble it, you just need to insert the bulb into the 'bulb housing', insert said housing into the 'pre-drilled' cavity and booom, you're done, it really is that simple chaps! The weight of this one is impressive. I got the 12 kg one which is gorgeous! The light from this is of a most unusual crispness and is rather bright considering the salt rock is of a dense composition! It does taste salty! Haha. The wooden base is secured firmly to said Himalayan Rock with two perfectly adequate screws, so you don't have to do anything to them. The light that is emitted is of an exceptional quality and really adds a lovely focal point to any room. It's heavy, looks great and has natural faults running through the rock, as you'd obviously expect! I'm very pleased with this item and I'm rather envious of my son as its his Christmas present! I will definitely be buying at least one of these and I can't rate this high enough, it's stunning! I didn't get it for its healing properties I would add, I don't belive all of that 'voodoo' but I suspect that the 'calming' light that this emits could have a relaxing effect on us human beens, ergo could relieve stress and anxiety! I genuinely can't recommend this enough though!

This was larger than expected for a great price. Beautiful when switched on and lovely to look at whether switched on or at. Very pleased with the quality of the product.

Bought this as an upgrade to a smaller I had before. I was totally shocked when it arrived being much larger than what I ordered. So much so I weighted it being 22.8kg & not 9-12kg. Was this a mistake or just lucky for me? So much so double checked the order and yes what I ordered was correct including paying £33. The larger one being around 20kg was £99 so Christmas was kind me me highly recommended for every home.

This is the second salt lamp i have bought now and will be buying more, got the 4-6 kg one and the one i had delivered is not very tall but is a nice chunky size, roughly 7inch tall by 5 inch wide, was hoping for a tall skinny one but guess its the luck of the draw as they all seem to be different. Lamp arrived in a plain box with the salt boulder wrapped in plastic, few loose pieces but nothing too much, may of had a few bumps along the way but only add's to the appeal of it. It has a nice mixture of colour from a deep red band to an all over rose to clear spots. When the light is on it gives a very nice all over glow looks fantastic in my living room. Light bulb part did survive the delivery in one piece thankfully and has a switch mid line on the cord, when on the salt lump does get warm to the touch, but i guess thats part of how the thing works. Wooden base part is solid and fixed well into the lump and has 3 small areas for the cable to exit so can be placed in many directions for the best look of your lamp. Like my other lamp, which is much smaller, this has already made a change to the feeling in the room its in, air seems to be much crisper and has made my children seem to relax more...... Overall a very plesent lamp, looks great, made a change straight away. Will deffo be ordering more, will message seller to see if they can pick one out for me though before sending.

Wowzers! Where to begin? How about the beginning? Here goes. I awoke feeling as tired as a little Fieldmouse. I realised my lamp in my bedroom was evil. It seemed to drain my powers as well as illuminate my room. I dragged myself downstairs and enjoyed a shiny red apple and a glass of water and began to feel awake. I grabbed my phone, not knowing at that time that my neighbours dog was taking a dump on my front lawn, and ordered myself one of these lamps. Hoping that it would arrive and all would be well in the world. 2 days later it arrived. The postie commented on how bloody heavy the package was. I laughed. He laughed. I laughed some more. He laughed even more heartily. I frowned. He laughed and patted me on the head and said goodbye. He was right though. The package was indeed, bloody heavy. A good sign i knew. I man handled it upstairs and opened it up. Wowsers i said to myself. (No one else was there for me to say it to) what lay in front of me was a thing of beauty. I read the basic instructions and constructed by new lamp. Placing it on my bedside table, I admired it for a moment without turning it on. Again I spoke to myself, saying words like 'nice lamp' and ' looks good doesn't it?' the last question i fired out although i knew that no one was there to answer me, so i answered it myself. 'It does look good, you're right and if i may say so, jolly handsome too, fancy getting a drink later?'. I made my date arrangements and then turned on the lamp, using the simple to operate switch. BOOM! It illuminated not only the corner of my bedroom but also my heart. It glowed in such a way that it made me well up and make a noise like this ' oohywahhh'. On hearing this my wife came running into the room and asked if i was OK? Worried that she may have overheard me making my date, I was quick to distract her by pointing out my new lamp. That looks nice, she said and then she left the room. She was right. It does look nice. A lovely orange glow from the top of the lamp but lower down mine is more of a white colour. Which looks super nice . And you know what? Since having my lamp by neighbours dog hasn't taken a dump on my lawn again. Coincidence? I'll let you be the judge of that...

The product was not as described. There’s a metal plate hole on top? The pictures do not suggest this. I want a refund.

This is a scam. I have received 1.5 killo piece when I ordered 9-12 killo piece. Its small and doesnt look nice
