DEWALT XR 2Ah Lithium Ion Battery, DCB183-XJ

A great wee battery, quick charging and very light. Very useful where you are reaching upwards with your power tool, for example screwing in plasterboard to a ceiling. Great value I can recommend this to Dewalt users who feel the weight of a 4 or 5ah on certain jobs.

The product was great but the delivery took far too long ( about three weeks) which is unacceptable

As most of these it works out the box you have about 75% charge. i think dewalt have got on a really good product range with these, lets be honest most guys like stuff that looks and feels right, its not just a battery, when i got this out the packet, I did think wow this looks and feels great... its a battery all said and done, omg, but, it just looks so sexy... I tried it on a couple of my units and then charged it, charged in no time and makes tools so light, but still has the same power as any other battery obviously for a limited time. I have 2 other 4 Ah batteries and decided to get this as a back up and to power the torch or USB charger if I need it. Also allows you to get the units in smaller spaces. Update; Used this battery in anger at the weekend. I installed new fascia cover boards and new guttering front and back of the house. I swapped this battery back and forth between my multitool for cutting guttering and impact driver for installing gutter brackets and removing old stuff, after I had finished about 6 hours of work still one bar showing on the battery, amazed at how long it lasted, the bonus was the lightmess it made the tools as I was working up a ladder the whole time.

Will not charge, do not buy. Contacted DeWalt who (through several hoops) replaced free of charge so must be genuine product. Please ignore review title.

Jag har tidigare köpt ett kopibatteri. Det fungera inte helt så bra som etta original dewalt. Prisskillnaden är egentligen inte så stor, om man kan hitta ett bra erbjudande på dewalt. Detta batteriet prestera som förväntat, hög kvalitet som alltid från dewalt. Kapacitet är mindra, men fungerar bra till bla min slagskruvdragere och det relativt lille jag använder min sticksåg.
