Altai Motorised Cassette Adaptor VHS-C To VHS Adaptor

This was a great gift for my children (now in their 20s) to watch all their childhood videos

This is great for the VHS-C tapes, worked very well and very easy to use!

This camcorder tape adapter was not expensive and and it is therefore not surprising that the quality of manufacture is poor. It failed to work properly after half an hour of first use, but was repairable. It is still working, but for how long??????

I Amason , i have Emailed you but got no reply , on the failure of this Altai moterised cassette adapter ,my old video player plays fine 👍when i put my small vsh tape in it only last 2 minutes then cuts off, it makes a racket when playing even tho its 2 minutes , it chewed up my vsh tape that is 20 years old and got all hollidays of my children when they were 5 and 7 years old was fuming 😡 like say did email you but no reply probibly wont get back on this issue either 🤔 Gary stanbury 😡

Was slightly hesitant in buying this adapter as wasn't too sure how well it would work - but worked perfectly. As another reviewer pointed out, it's slightly fiddly getting the tapes out of the holder as you have to push from the bottom. Overall just what is needed to watch old VHS-C tapes again!!

I know some of the other buyers seem to have had issues with it being tricky to load and unload cassettes, but I found it no hassle at all. I guess my fingers work??! Have played at least 10 of my old vids so far with no problems, great product!

I wanted this product to help convert old camcorder tapes to dvd, particularly of family films. I have a special vhs to dvd recorder so this was just the job. So far it has not disappointed and the whole package is saving a lot of money on sending tapes away for conversion plus it gives you that extra bit of flexibility in handling old films.

This item is fine. However I bought it thinking it would fit tape H18 - MP. P 5-90. It doesn't fit that tape. Hope this helps someone make the right choice when purchasing.
