Tripod Mount Ring D for Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM

Feels solid (all Metal) fitted my lens a treat. For this price and quality, I can manage without the Brand Name! As with all things, 'Time will Tell'.

The product fit my Canon EF 100mm 2.8L IS Macro lens perfectly, at a fraction of the cost of the Genuine Canon Part. it has a perfect fit and the lens is very secure in the clamp. (See Photo) Please note, It does not have the paint finish match that you see in their image like the genuine Canon product, Canon pro lenses have a raised speckle paint finish, this product is anodised aluminium and as such a very smooth finish. The colour match is perfect however it may scratch easier than the genuine part. Another note is that the Amazon Image shows the the product collar being lined with a flocked material, it does not have this it has a plastic non slip type material. the down side of this is that you can not rotate the lens without fully slackening off the clamp, no big deal bit another example of the advertised product not matching the delivered product. So the product is fit for purpose at a fraction of the cost, the loss of a star is only due to the misrepresentation of the paint finish, (See close up photo). Other than that I would recommend it and I would buy again.

I have just received this item as I needed it to fit my Canon 100mm f2.8 macro lens which this ring is supposed to fit. Put quite simply...IT DON'T FIT. It is far to narrow to fit round the girth of the lens it is supposed to fit.I now either have to keep it or return it to...HONG KONG.Please be aware of this if you are thinking of ordering it for that particular lens....it ain't made for it.

中国からEMSで1週間程で届きました。 少し重いけどダイキャストなので。バリもなく造りは良いのですが、レンズに対してはギチギチです。しかも内側に貼ってある布から接着剤がはみ出してきて鏡筒にこびりついてレンズが回転しません。 仕方ないので薄い不織布に張り替えました。 まあ値段相応です。

El anillo cumple su función pero no va "tan fino" como los originales de Canon y otros que he probado. Lo compré para usarlo cuando utilice el trípode con el 100 macro IS y poder cambiar la posición horizontal-vertical rápidamente y de primeras llevé un buen susto porque iba demasiado duro y el anillo no parecía encajar del todo bien en el objetivo. Pero con algo de uso está mas suave y aunque tiene bastante más holgura en el giro que los originales que tengo hay que tener en cuenta que vale unas 7 veces menos. Cuando lo compré estuve dudando con el de Phottix (que no tengo ni idea de si irá mejor o peor que este), pero me gustó más el acabado de este que se asemeja mucho más al del objetivo. En cuanto al envío, el producto me llegó en el plazo de entrega estimado.

This tripod ring is built relatively well and fits my 100mm 2.8L IS well. I see no problems with it in use. It should be noted though that the 100mm 2.8L IS is a fairly light lends, so a sturdy tripod and the camera mount might be enough for some users. It is a good product.

No encuentro un anillo para trípode para un tele 75-300 AF de Minolta en Amazon. Así que éste para Canon me sirve por aproximación del diámetro. Así no sobrecargo en peso mi Fuji X E-1
