Oh No Gaston! Oh Non Gaston!: A French - English bilingual book for children

Great book, we love to read about Gaston’s adventures.

I was looking for a book for my daughter which could be read by both her dad and I ( I am French and he is English). The story is funny and she loves it!

My partner and I have French & English daughters who are both 6. I had great fun reading this to both of them when they were 5. The story is funny. If you like a dog-fart punchline. And who doesn't? My 6 year old (English) daughter is now reading the French parts on her own 😎👌

It’s a nice book and well received by the little girl I gave it to; the translation from English to French is not perfect though.

Bought this for my goddaughter, very pleased that she liked it ! 🙂

Easy to follow and great story to help us and our children learn French. Really enjoyable. We love that it has the free audio download brilliant addition

Very satisfactory assistance for younger students of French.

I am delighted to see a bilingual book on the market but disappointed with the translation. I fear Google translate has been at work and the natural flow has been loss. More common words and cognates to facilitate learning could have been chosen. There are 2 major grammatical errors ! I bought 2 for my grandchildren but sadly don't feel I can give them. I hope to have a response from the author

Good story and translation . Too bad it’s not a border book or hard cover . Its a good story for a toddler I assume. For a baby under 1 is not so interesting

Very cute book! I’m currently learning French, and a classmate suggested reading children’s books as a helpful way to practice. This one was perfect. Each sentence is presented in English alongside the French translation, which made it easy to follow and learn. A great bonus is the free downloadable audiobook. It’s incredibly helpful when you’re unsure about pronunciation. A few pages were printed upside down, but I honestly didn’t mind, it added a bit of quirky charm :) I also loved that it’s something I can read with my daughter, making it a fun and meaningful way to share my language-learning journey with her.

This was a cute story that engages a young persons interest in two languages English and French. It had great illustrations to go with the story. At the end was information and activities to more fully complete the dual language experience.
