Due to its flat-edged impact zone, Devil Ball exaggerates the face angle of your putter at impact. It's more difficult to make Devil Ball to roll straight than a normal, spherical golf ball, meaning it's twice as hard to hole a 3ft putt. If you deliver a closed putter face, Devil Ball will spin erratically off to the left of target. If you deliver an open putter face, Devil Ball will spin erratically off to the right. If you are new to golf, Devil Ball will only be suitable if you are serious about improving your putting skills. We recommend you start by using Devil Ball on the ‘Beginner’ setting. To use the ‘Beginner’ setting, rotate Devil Ball so that you are hitting the roundest part of the ball (see the images below) I’m a really good golfer, can Devil Ball still help my putting? Devil Ball will challenge even the most experience golfers. If you are a skilled golfer, you can try using Devil Ball on the Intermediate and Pro difficulty settings. Be warned though, it is called ‘Devil Ball’ for a reason! Are there different balls for the different difficulty settings? No. Each Devil Ball has three different difficulty levels built in. You change the difficulty level by rotating the Devil Ball so that you are hitting a rounder (easier) or flatter (harder) part of the ball. This is shown in the images below. On the ‘Beginner’ difficulty level, you will hit the roundest part of the ball. On the ‘Pro’ difficulty level, you will hit the flattest part of the ball. There are two Devil Balls provided in each pack, but they are both identical. Can I use this at home? Yes. Devil Ball can be used at home, at work and out on the practice green. For even better results we recommend using Devil Ball alongside our putting mats, pressure trainers and range of other training tools (sold separately). Can I play a round of golf with Devil Ball? No. It’s important to note that Devil Ball itself is a training tool and cannot be used in normal play. Devil Ball should also not be used with any golf club other than your putter. This will cause imperfect strikes to be exaggerated the most. I really enjoy the immediate feedback these provide. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as intended but has sound/feel issues *by L***N on March 3, 2024* The Devil Ball works as intended but don't expect the feel and sound of a real ball. If you mishit whether its from face angle issues or from cutting across the ball (a putter slice/hook?), the ball reacts and rolls offline as intended. At 3 feet or closer it is not as effective especially if you normally hit it harder at this distance like you would to take the slope out when you're on the course. I currently use it at 6 ft and 8 ft to get the best results. If you are expecting this to sound and feel like a golf ball, this is not for you. The ball doesn't jump off the face like a real ball and it has a hard plastic sound. I've found drawing a 360 deg line on a ball or coloring half of the ball one color with a sharpie will tell you the same thing and still maintain feel and sound.
