American Vintage Tremolo Tension Springs (Package of 5)

I didn't realise how much of difference a new set of springs would make to the sound and sustain on my Squire Stratocaser Standard, I'm really impressed. I used all 5 springs and didn't bother with some of the 3 spring arrangements you might see on youtube. Fender provides 5 in a pack and there are 5 connectors on the guitar. Arranging this way distributes equal tension on each spring which makes sense to me. I've had problems with the floating bridge with the older springs but a few adjustments and its solid and holds tune now.

I used these as a replacement for the springs in a budget guitar 2 point tremolo and the made a big difference. The trem action is now nice and smooth and stability is much improved.

Very good does the job

I have 4 of these replacement springs on the back of my fender Stratocaster and have noticed a massive improvement on the tuning stability. They are slightly shorter than the original springs but only a bit of an adjustment to the claw is needed to get them to work. Very impressed at the improvement in the playability

These are good quality and do their job well, although I'm a little disappointed they are made in Taiwan not the USA.

Bought these to replace the very springs on a 30 year old Encore Strat. For what ever reason it only had 2 springs on there rather than the usual 5. The new springs fitted perfectly and have completely transformed the guitar. Buzzing has gone and no more tuning issues as bridge is now held securely exactly where it should be. A

J'ai remplacé les 3 ressorts de ma Pacifica 611VFM par ce jeu de 5 pour remplacer les cordes 9-42 d'origine par du 10-46 car les vis de maintient de la griffe étaient très serrées pour plaquer le vibrato, du coup j'ai pu diminuer la tension des ressorts et je constate une amélioration du rendu sonore et un fonctionnement plus souple du vibrato.

Replaced a few springs in my old SRV strat. They fit perfectly and matched the old ones very well.

Adquirí este juego de muelles original Fender made in USA P.N. 0031643049 para fijar el puente flotante de mi Fender Stratocaster American Standard del 92'. Vale para cualquier guitarra con puente flotante tipo Strato. El puente flotante permite utilizar la palanca de trémolo tanto para subir como para bajar la afinación momentáneamente, pero ocasiona problemas de estabilidad de afinación. El puente se mantiene flotante gracias a 3 muelles que se oponen a la tensión de las cuerdas. Si intalamos 5 muelles en lugar de los 3 originales el puente queda pegado al cuerpo de la guitarra, con lo que la afinación mejora en estabilidad, aumenta el sustain de la guitarra e incluso el tono mejora con un sonido más grueso, con más graves. A cambio, la acción de la palanca de trémolo queda muy limitada, sólo permite bajar la afinación y con más esfuerzo. De hecho es mejor no utilizarla, demasiada tensión. Hay quien complementa la operación instalando una cuña de madera tras el bloque del puente, que lo fija del todo y, según he leído por ahí, aumenta aún más el sustain. No he querido llegar a límites tan drásticos, pero sí he dado un par de vueltas a los tirafondos que fijan el soporte donde se enganchan los muelles, para tensarlos un poco más y hacer que el asiento del puente sobre el cuerpo de la guitarra sea aún más firme. En todo caso, después de instalar los muelles hay que corregir la altura de las cuerdas con las selletas del puente, así como la octavación. El resultado final, muy satisfactorio.

スクワイアに付いている3本のスプリングから、こちらのスプリングを5本付け替えました。正直違いは分からないですが、チューニングの安定感が増したような気がします。
