Easy. It’s a 10 minute distraction for a child over 9. I bought this for my 6 year old (loves magnets, snap circuits, legos, etc). This was fun and worth the price at $17.00. He picks it up every once in a while but I wouldn’t say this is is a learning toy so much as an experimental toy- if that makes sense.

No! There is nothing even remotely accurate about this model. Save your $10, what a waste of money.

The batteries are secured with a screw!

Q: What is the order to the steel posts?

No directions with this kit. You have to size them so they can rotate around each other. Had I known how frustrating this thing was I would have opted for a more expensive and slightly larger model. Hindsight is great. This kit isn’t.

nice present idea i thought for my son- it was a bit smaller than expectedpainting it was difficult because the colours come out washed outand you have to sandpaper it so the paint sticks onhe lost interest pretty quickly. also would have been nice if all the countrieswere outlines so he learnt where the countries were as he painted..also. you lose where you are painting because the ridge between land and sea are to faint..

Very good but expensive

It was a lot to pay for such a little bit of plastic, but in order to demonstrate to grandchildren (with the aid of a torch) why we get the phases of the moon it was just about worth it.
