Great taste and effective!
I've tried a couple of the flavours of these gels and the blackcurrant one is my favourite so far - it doesn't taste as chemical-y as other ones like vanilla so is far more pleasant. They give a good boost in energy too and stave off a bit of hunger for a while. I find them really useful in-between tennis sets or having a small amount in-between changeovers. Good product!

Better than SIS Gels
I switched to these gels from the Sports in science gels. Size wise a key factor on a long run or cycle you can easily fit a few into a pouch. Taste & texture is good (must be washed down with some water) however the added caffeine gives you that little extra boost which & the other ingredients is already helping your recovery. Glad I went for the BlackBerry Gel probably the best flavour. Also these are Gluten free & Vegan friendly!

seems to help
I only use these on long runs (15km +) and they seem to help. I don't know whether it is just psychological but I look forward to the sweet kick every 45 minutes or so and it helps keep me going. nice and compact to store in a belt/pocket as well so don't get in the way. flavour is personal preference of course but these are sweet and taste ok once you get used to the texture.

Good product
I'm getting use to the non water gels. This one is thick but tastes fine.

Pocket rocket fuel
I used these for the first time doing a 110km bike ride in Cape Town. I'm by I means an endurance athlete and this was the longest cycle is ever attempted by about 3x. I was recommended these Gu sachets by a keen cyclist who raved about them and have to say that they lived up to the hike. I used three during the race and felt a massive improvement when taking them, especially the first one.

I’ve tried a lot of gels, and I don’t love the vanilla or chocolate ones. The texture and taste just aren’t there for me. But these blackberry ones are the best. They taste great, have the added bonus of caffeine, and give the perfect sugar hit during endurance training. They’re my go-to for long runs and rides. Highly recommend if you’ve struggled with other flavors.

Helped me a lot to gain energy especially with my long runs. Tolerable taste and easy to digest haven’t have upset stomach so far. You’ll get your value of money and your quality run goals.
