great cost benefit, thin blade
Small size, very easy to carry, seems to be sturdy and very well made. The blade looks nice, and it is thinner than the average pocket knife - which comes to my liking. The edge came quite sharp, and probably is easy to sharpen because of its thickness. It requires a little flick of the wrist to open, nothing major. As an extra it came inside a case with a cloth (that I’m using for my glasses). The packaging came undamaged too

happy with this purchase
I got knife for my son, and it’s been perfect. The size is just right for everyday carry—small and easy to handle, yet still functional. The D2 steel blade is sharp and durable, holding an edge really well even after regular use. The G10 handle feels sturdy and comfortable in the hand, and the pocket clip makes it easy to carry around safely. It’s a solid little knife for camping, hiking, or just general outdoor use. Overall, the build quality is excellent, and it feels like a premium knife for the price. My son loves it, and I’m really happy with this purchase.

Straight to the Point!
I got a gift card from my in laws for CHRISTmas so I was thumbing around Amazon and thought let me get another pocketknife to add to my collection! I looked and looked and this knife kept coming across my screen. I ended up going with it and I’m glad I did! The weight and balance are perfect! It has the smoothest wrist flick to open it. The green and black color way is awesome, the handle and blade feel nice and strong ready to do whatever job it’s called to! The edge is super sharp and durable as well! This is going to be my daily driver, it will pair nicely with my M&P as it has a tactical vibe!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Go to knife now
This is a great knife. Small and compact so it’s easy to carry, easy to hide and doesn’t take up a lot of space. The blade itself holds up great with use and the blade comes sharp and continues to stay sharp. The grip is nice and comfortable for the size of the knife and doesn’t rotate in my hand with use. Love the sleek look and the pattern on the handle especially with the dark green I chose. The edge holds up great as I use this mainly for work for either cutting cable ties, boxes, cling wrap, or plastic. Nothing serious to beat it up but over the time it’s still as sharp as the day I bought it.

Quality small and durable edc knife!
Tldr; very sharp and durable. Great value. Handle is ideal for small or medium hands, not for large hands. Pocket clip not reversible. Well made, nicely packaged, quality knife. Came very sharp and in very nice packaging. The case and cleaning cloth are a nice touch. Has barely left my side in the 3 weeks I've had it. Blade is durable and has not noticeably dulled after cutting some cardboard. The handle is a bit small but fits well in my hand (I'm a woman but my hands are on the larger side for a woman). I would not recommend this knife for someone with large hands, however if you're a woman or a guy with medium sized hands then this might work great for you. The design and construction is very thoughtfully engineered and constructed. The pocket clip appears to be the same style as on most civivi knives. It's deep carry and stays put, but doesn't make removing the knife from my pocket difficult. Only downside is the pocket clip is not reversible so you're stuck with mostly front-right or back-left pocket carrying (if you're someone worrying about the safety of having the blade snug against the seam of your pocket). But since it's a flipper then I suppose it can still be a lefty if you're ok with it being carried in your left back pocket. Personally I wish the clip was reversible so I could carry it in my back right, but oh well. The pocket clip isn't a deal breaker to me as long as it's safe and secure. Honestly I don't have many bad things to say about this knife. It's a nicely designed d2 blade built well and backed up by a warranty. Personally I like the g10 handles because it's less weight in my pocket, but if you're someone who doesn't like g10, then go for something else. Plus I love the color. Looks great with the black coated blade. If you want a moderately small and lightweight, but well made edc blade, this is a great option. Definitely worth $30. For this price range you often don't find metals harder than 8cr13, so this is definitely a step up from a lot of other knives in the price-range. It's completely replaced my kershaw shuffle and I don't think I'm gonna go back (cause with 8cr13 I end up having to sharpen it weekly. D2 seems to hold an edge much better).

Small Knife, Big Competence
I’ve owned and handled more pocket knives than I probably need to admit, and the CIVIVI Mini Praxis is one of those knives that quietly makes you question why some brands charge double for half the performance. First, the D2 blade: it comes very sharp out of the box, holds an edge well, and strikes that sweet spot between toughness and ease of sharpening. At just under 3 inches, it’s legal in many areas and practical for real EDC tasks—boxes, zip ties, food prep, and the occasional “why won’t this open?” moment we all face. The action is classic CIVIVI—smooth, controlled, and confidence-inspiring. The flipper tab deploys cleanly, and the liner lock engages solidly with no blade play. No drama, no surprises, just good engineering doing its job. The G10 handle is lightweight but grippy, with an ergonomic shape that fills the hand better than you’d expect for a “mini” knife. It disappears in the pocket but doesn’t feel toy-like when actually used. The pocket clip is functional, unobtrusive, and doesn’t shred your jeans—an underrated achievement. Is it perfect? No. D2 isn’t stainless, so if you live in a humid environment or sweat like a marathon runner, you’ll want to wipe it down occasionally. Also, if you prefer ultra-deep carry or premium steels, you might look elsewhere (and pay more). But for the price? This knife punches well above its weight class. It’s the kind of knife you actually carry and use—not just admire. Bottom line: If you want a compact, sharp, well-built EDC knife from a company that clearly knows what it’s doing, the Mini Praxis is an easy recommendation. CIVIVI continues to prove that “budget” doesn’t have to mean “compromise.”
