After starting with arthritis in my wrist I bought a lot of supports from Amazon and this is by far the best by a long way. It is soft and warm to wear, but because it is more rigid than a tube bandage type, it doesn't have to be as tight. Wearing the tuby ones starts to get uncomfortable after a few days and I have to take it off to give my wrist a break. This one has a better effect but nowhere near as tight. So I can just keep wearing it. I have very small wrists and it can be tightened up perfectly, but would also fit a larger wrist. I wear it in bed and whilst doing tasks and it is so helpful. I can't begin to express how much better this is than any of the others I tried. If you're in any doubt, plump for this one and you won't regret it.

I really am so happy I bought this. I have injured my wrist and needed something to hold my hand in place and help it to heal. I have been using it now for 3 days and it is amazing. It is not too bulky and doesn't feel like it is in the way. I have managed to drive and do everything as usual. The velcro sticks back in place really well. Also the whole things is so well made. You can use it on either hand which is super good. It doesn't look horrible either and looks quite sporty and modern. I have small hands and average size wrists for a woman. I would wonder though if you were a big guy if this would possibly be a bit small? It wraps around so nicely and you can adjust it tighter. Obviously when washing your hands during the day you would need to take it off but saying that it doesn't make your hand/arm sweat too much. (Possibly in summer it will be a different story). I also bought another similar item which I will review too and it is okay but after trying this one first I am not keen to wear the other one now. This was a bit pricey but then I believe if you have a sore wrist comfort is important and you don't want to have something on your arm that looks horrible. I really would recommend it to anyone and spend the extra money as it is worth it. ** Update ** 26/3/2014 It has really helped my hand to heal (and stop me moving it about too much). I am still wearing it now though for another week to make sure my wrist is totally better. I think it is the best item like this that I have come across. ***Update 8/10/2015 I have just returned to buy another one, really useful and as for the previous one - the velcro eventually stopped sticking and started to curl up but I got a lot of wear out of it. HIGHLY Recommend!

Support is great but actually putting it on securely is difficult without someone helping.

Due to a car accident my wrist seems to be in pain a lot and i brought one of these in tescos a few years ago. It was comfortable and supportive which helped during work and when handling my horses. It lasted ages and the only reason i had to purchase another was because i lost my first one and after shopping in stores like tesco and boots and getting wrist supports which have no support over the thumb part i decided to have a look online. I was hoping this was the same one, and it is, and i'm happy i didn't waste too much money on supports which were uncomfortable as the other ones rubbed my thumb and didn't support the base of my wrist. Whereas this one does. It's seriously been one of the best supports you can buy and excellent value for money. I was able to wash my old one and it didn't affect to use and was easily using it for over 6 months. So comments and other reviews saying it only lasted 3 weeks, i wonder what you're doing to make it only last 3 weeks?! I wore mine for between 2-10 hours during work periods or handling animals (mainly horses) and never had any issue or ruining the support of it. If you look after it and respect the fact it's there to support your wrist/hand/thumb and still bear in mind it's not going to "cure" whatever is wrong with your hand, you shouldn't do any damage. :) Would happily buy another and think i might so i can have two for when one is being washed lol

We have had this less than 6 weeks. Fits well, and was initially helping with wrist pain. But the velcro has worn away, and no longer stays fixed / closed around the wrist. At £14 it should last more than a month.

Esta muñequera es fantastica. Ajusta muy bien, a la medida y presión que tu quieras. No produce rozaduras y da mucha sujección. Es facil de limpiar pero no en lavadora. Yo se la compre a mi padre operado de tunel carpiano y le esta viniendo de lujo. Hay otra version con una barra estabilizadora para no mover la articulación. Esta es para poder moverla y hacer ejerciciós con mucha mayor seguridad.

I sprained my right wrist severely as a result of falling from a ladder. I Here are the pros: 1. inexpensive 2. I have an 8-inch wrist but adjust to a larger size 3. Very strong and well made 4, East on and off. The velcro makes a strong bond and gives solid support to the wrist 5. For stronger support just cinch up the velcro or loosen to lessen 6. Will fit right or left hand Cons: none, however, I keep it completely dry. I remove to wash my hands and reapply. I highly recommend.
