Driver San Francisco (Xbox 360)

Possibly the best Driver game in the series and possibly the best racer out at present. A return to old fashioned arcade racers, with a slight twist that only makes the game more enjoyable with the new shift option. Shifting is the main key to this game allowing you to take control of any vehicle you see on the road at a single push of a button. The one thing I have found increasingly annoying about most racers is the hours of tuning just to get a car to handle properly, with Driver what you see is what you get grab a car and get driving. Handling is very nice on most cars, where muscle cars are slightly heavier in their turning and super cars are very (if not sometimes) over responsive. The story isn't much but it does have some good moments in it. Like when you start your game up again it runs in a mini movie of what you have done so far in story mode, which is pretty neat. The game is not overly hard, taking less than a week to complete if you hammer at it. But the game does support a wide array of multiplayer game modes on and offline which make the games longevity last that much longer. Online MP is hectic, fast paced craziness and great for a good laugh with some friends. All in all I highly recommend this game, it's few small flaws are massively outweighed by the potential this game has brought to the driving game franchise, and it's overall play ability is very hard to beat.

Really fun title

DSF has been a long time in the making with the release date delayed on more than one occasion. The finished product is a good one with real vehicles and a 'shift' feature which is great fun to use. Being perfectly honest, if its an all action driving game with missions you are after, buy GTA 4. Driver SF is PURELY for driving and im my opinion not as good as GTA BUT we shouldnt be comparing the two as they are completely different and heres why: ubisoft have had previous driver games where you can get out of the car and proceed on foot but have obviously scrapped this idea and went back to pure driving (good idea as GTA will always be better in the driving/shooting category). What we should be saying is that Driver SF is an alternative to the Need For Speed games and much better than them with more realistic damage and a better driving experience (havent played 'The Run' yet. After all the waiting though I must say I am slightly disappointed with this game but would still recommend it. Just makes me look forward to GTA 5 more. Gameplay is good-very good with realistic car handling. Game feels although its lacking that GTA soul, Ubisoft have tried and the humour in the game is good especially when you shift vehicle to vehicle. Look at the price now!!! £15 this is a steal at that price. My rating: 69% Recommended Genre: Driving, arcade racer, driving simulator, police

Good quality product

It's wasn't Brand new, and unfortunately the disc was scratch and there's a little fracture on the middle of the disc. But it's works fine.

Great game thats very silly, but is very knowing about just how silly it is, and embraces it, making it all the more fun. Great controls, awesome soundtrack, brilliant gameplay, very funny. Some of the best fun I've had playing a game in years

I received the game today and started playing with high hopes. I'm not disappointed! I like the story, the graphics and the cars. It'S great to fly over San Francisco and shift in any car you like at any time. It's so much fun. I'm certainly not going to get bored with the game very soon.
