Alright buckle up boys. These are for people looking for a certain sound, specifically something laid back. Key points: - they love power. If you have an dac/amp they’ll sound the best. But they work fine on a phone. I have an iPhone X, they get plenty loud but an amp does give that delicious lil ompf to it. - very lightweight, comfortable in my opinion. -mostly bass and mids, very laid back highs. You can’t go wrong for under $25. Just don’t expect to be blown away. They’re great value. I have all the big boy toys, the sennheisers, the audiotechnicas, v-moda, Sony, and even beats to mention a few. But these, are honestly one of my favorite. They’re laid back. Enough detail to be happy with. The highs aren’t sharp. In fact the frequency range graph has a big dip around 4-5k hz. They’re not harsh. These are for when you want to literally just listen to music and chill out. They’re great for gaming, they have great sound stage and plenty of bass to back it up and mids to hear what’s going on around you. They’re absolutely perfect for rock music. Especially metal. Good for movies. Turn up and they’ll vibrate nice on your head from the bass. The sound is veiled, if even muddy but, it’s good. Really good. I’d be happy to pay $80 for these, so you can’t really go wrong with them. Long cable, 8.2 feet. It’s attached but it’s also a sub $50 headphone so you can’t complain. The plug is quite the thick boy so you’re not really gonna be able to fit it in a phone case, a iPhone dongle won’t be an issue though. These are more of a home headphone. Not specially for travel. If you’re looking to work out in these or block out a ton of sound, look elsewhere. Good for public trans or walking just so you can hear the world going on around you while listening to music, btw if you have a problem with headphones losing bass while you’re out and about, these won’t do that. I’ve heard probably a hundred headphones and thousands of dollars of equipment, but these will always be one of my favorites.

I am truly surprised and impressed. Such great quality sound at such a low price. These are isolation headphones nor are they noise-cancelling headphones. They do provide very good sound barriers which enable the music to come through with ultra clarity. The bass is truly definitive with these headphones. I would definitely say these are studio quality headphones and though they may not cost $100 or more, don't let the price fool you. I have some on-ear studio headphones and these surpass their sound quality by a mile. I use these with my KAT3 drums and I am just blown away.

Sound good for the price, comfortable (good cheap beaters). (Paid $14) Would recommend these at this price point, vs anything similar on Amazon up to $30 otherwise ~$40 will get you great quality from Superlux or entry Sennheiser / Audio-Technica headphones. 7/10 comfort - I wear them for long periods on/off all day with no real issue. Could use some DIY top padding as the pressure is not evenly distributed because it's hollow in the middle. 7/10 build quality, visually cheap but surprisingly sturdy biggest worry is how long the pads will last. They seem to need an amp to really sound good (someone posted the Imp is 32 ohms which really shouldn't need one, but the sound doesn't lie), otherwise they sound muddy, un-detailed and distant (the bass up front and everything else at a distance, disappointing vocals/instruments). Bass was still a bit on the high side (even for me). I dropped 0-125Hz -2dB and bumped 80Hz up +1.5dB, for clearer, un-overwhelming bass.

These fit over the ear and are fairly substantial. I purchased this based upon other reviews indicated they used these while mowing (one indicated use with a zero-turn rider). While you can hear through these phones while mowing, they do not block out the noise from the mower well enough, and the volume of your device needs to be turned up quite high to override the mower noise. Prolonged use at such a volume could cause hearing loss, so I would not recommend these be used with a power mower. I found them to be quite comfortable and not too tight for my head (hat size 7.5), and the sound clarity is very good.

For 13 dollars i cannot believe the quality. They feel a little bit shaky when you're holding them in hand but on your head they fit perfectly over ear, feel solid and have decent quality sound. Obviously for 13 dollars, you're not buying the cadillac of headphones, that being said they're astounding for the price. Honestly kinda blown away, i've purchased many "High-end" head phones in the last 5-6 years, spent well over 100 dollars on them and had them break after 4-5 months. So i decided i'd spend less than 20 and see where it takes me, i'm glad i did.

I was looking for an affordable replacement for my headphones. I'm not an audiophile, so I didn't need anything fancy. The size was really appealing, as I seem to have bigger ears. They're very comfortable, and don't squish my head. However, for reasons I can't explain, I had to get into my computer's sound card settings for things to make things sound right again. Everything was not only super loud, but it was also really muffled. My computer's speaker settings are now at 50%. I was able to adjust the settings for things to sound normal again, and those changes didn't change the sound that my little speaker puts out. It's just an odd thing to need to do for a new set of headphones. I also wish this had a detachable cord, as opposed to it all being one unit. That's just a matter of convenience though (being able to easily switch from headphones to a speaker). So, they're great for comfort, and now the sound is fine. Just had that odd little glitch.

Replacement headphones for laptop needed and these fit the bill! Comfortable, lightweight and sound good. What more can one ask for. Even after wearing for an hour or more there was hardly any fatigue or discomfort. Listening to a good audio source, I was impressed by the quality of music reproduced by these JVC phones! Not audiophile at all but good for the price. Recommended
