By far the best steam iron
I specifically bought this model for the loads of steam. If your steaming on high you WILL NOT burn your clothes, the steam keeps a buffer layer, and as long as your moving the iron it won’t burn or stick. This the second June I have owned, first one I broke the power cord and you cannot get a new one very easily.

Perfect Iron for me
This is the second time I have ordered the Rowenta Steam Pro Professional Iron. I think I just wore the first one out after about seven years. I like the weight of the iron and it puts out a lot of steam also the fact that it turns off if its left sitting stationary for a long period of time. I really like an iron that gets hot, and this one does get very hot.

Echoing a few other reviewers
We like this iron a lot. However, thanks to Amazon's reviewers, we knew the problems with it before we bought it. THe iron works very well. There are two problems:1. The water container is so dark that we can't tell where the water level is. We had to do it by trial and error (overflow).2. The instructions tell you to look for the light to see if the iron is up to temperature. I could not see the light. I was ready to return it, thinking I got a defective one. I called customer service. He explained to me where to look. There is a tiny neon bulb, deep inside the iron that is only visible if you bend over to the level of the base of the iron and look straight into a tiny window. It steams well. It's a "Goldilocks" weight for us: not too heavy and not too lightweight.

You can not see how much water is in the iron.
This iron was not design correctly. You never know when the water level is full or empty...The iron is such a dark color... We even spoke to a Rowenta customer service person. She agreed with my husband. We purchased it in December 2022. I do not used it that often. So now I am stuck with it!!!!!!! Can not get any answers from Amazon. Buyer beware do not purchased this iron!!!!!

Rowenta Iron Review
Bought this in 2021. Seal broke on the water container in 2025. Leaks everywhere now. Was a great iron for 3-4 years. The water container is too dark. You can't see the water line unless you hold it just right to the light.

Best iron ever
This is a wonderful iron. I've been a seamstress since childhood, and this is everything one looks for in a quality iron. Nice weight, big sole plate, excellent steam control... I could go on and on!

Positive, Positive, Positive
I had make contact about a minor registration issue. My call was returned within 5 minutes. I was talked through the issue. The contact was one of the most cordial, respectful people I've had pleasure to work with. I've always used Rowenta irons so the product is never an issue for me.
