Not same as original
2016 Ford Edge 2.0 L4 engine. This part looks pretty close and will fit… almost. The hoses are formed and this one is formed quite differently than the original. The fittings are different, but still connect. The real issue is one of the hoses is about 10” shorter than the original. I made it worked and as I snapped the final connection together, this short hose caused the nipple it was attaching to snap off. It looks integrated into the air intake hose, therefore I’ll need to now replace this as well as buy the proper sized purge valve kit.Hope this helps others with the same engine as mine.

Not an exact match
The part came in the timely fashion that Amazon had quoted it to arrive and I am real happy about that because I was in real predicament concerning my vehicle. However, the part was supposed to be a replacement part that was supposed to be a match to the OEM part. It was too short and the heat formed tubing were not even close to the factory Ford one. The tube next to the purge valve had a kink in it and since it was already 6 inches too short and I needed the part installed immediately, I had to buy some vacuum hose and clamps and fabricate one myself. It made things a little inconvenient, but for the cost difference I can’t really complain. The product seems to be of decent quality. Have to see how well it holds up and submit a follow up.

Zip ties are your best friend
Purchased this to replace a faulty valve. Was having trouble removing the existing line from behind the alternator. Luckily I noticed that the lines were just zip tied together on the replacement and stock part(s). Snip, snip, replaced the valve portion and my check light went out.

Fits. Doesn’t Work
This part fit our Lincoln Nautilus but didn’t solve the purge valve problem. After wasting money, time and labor; brought the part from NAPA and it fixed the issue.

Fixed my EVAP problem.
After searching every local auto parts store and countless parts websites for a replacement for my 2019 Ford Fusion Titanium I finally found it. The part works so far, the hoses all were all the correct length and had all the correct bends in them. The only thing was the connection that goes on the lower part of the motor was a little too tight and didn’t go on smoothly like the others but I was able to get it on after some time fidgeting with it. The code I was receiving was P0496, It took a few days for the check engine light to clear but it eventually did. No more rough idling or starting issues. I will come back to update this if it fails in the future so assume it has been working fine since the review date.UPDATE: 4/3/2024 check engine light has returned with same code. So either the car is plagued with the problem regardless and needs a recall or its a bad part.
