I trust the Russell Hobbs brand and always find their kettles to be reliable and of good quality. I’m giving four stars and not five because the style of on/off switch on the kettle has broken on our last two similar kettles (each time just outside the 24 month extended guarantee period), rendering otherwise perfectly working kettles useless. (The last Kettle was Russell Hobbs and the one before a different brand but with similar style switches). It is also very noisy when heating up. What I love is the easy opening lid for filling and the fantastic poring spout. It’s also a cool design which looks good on the worktop. I chose it because the price was good and it was made by a manufacturer I trust.

Works perfectly, boils quickly and easy to clean

How long for a cup of tea? Well, it looks like 58 seconds according to my calculations! The kettle was cold before boiling, so no cheating occurred. And the water was fresh from the cold tap. Kettle’s are quite electricity heavy, so the shorter the better. This kettle seems good, can’t vouch for durability as yet, but if it fails within a year, I’ll edit the review. The lead is long enough, it looks like a kettle, doesn’t seem particularly loud, and it boils water. That’ll do kettle, that’ll do..

This is a good, fast-boiling kettle that is quietish if kept descaled and is mostly metal inside, so there's less plastic in contact with water. However, after two years, the spring in the lid will break and it will no longer pop up. I am on my third one (replacement via guarantee). Descale it monthly as they ask for photos if you claim on the guarantee.

Good kettle, boils quick, not bulky, colour is great and as appears in photos. No smells or leaks and holds temperature well. Only disadvantage is that it is slightly noisy when compared to other kettles but not too bad. Good for the price.

Buon bollitore ad un prezzo decisamente buono. Forse il look non è dei migliori ma per quello che deve fare va bene così. Scelto perché è in acciaio ( prima ne avevo uno in plastica della stessa marca) Consigliato.

J'ai voulu changer de marque, l'ancienne était de marque Moulinex. Je suis surtout déçue du bruit, elle est vraiment trop bruyante c'est ma seule déception, le reste est convenable
