Q: Can you adjust tweeter level?

It has a switch to subtract or add db. Its + or - 3db if i remember correctly.

Q: does this need an amplyfier ? can I just wiring using the original wire

These will work on original wiring and stock radio, but for best sound and amplifier is recommended.

Q: Can these fit 2001 ford xlt f150 front speakers?

Yes they should but with a bracket. I have a 99 f150 and 6x8s were originally there and I bought the bracket to go to the 6.5"
