The Angler's Book Of British Freshwater Fish

Reading this book right through has been a really pleasant experience. I haven't fished for decades, but reading about all these fish brought back a lot of memories of using a quivertip on the Nadder and Avon for Chub and Eels, along with night fishing for Tench and Bream at gravel pit lakes.

Very handy ebook, lots of useful info for the angler in the UK, general details and pics for each of the common fish found in the UK rivers, streams and lakes (freshwater course fish). Its not a large tome, but its got all the basics covered.

Very helpful for new anglers to identify fish and pick up tips on each species of fish and how to ID them and where they may be found access the UK

This book makes fish easily identifiable. Brilliant illustrations.

Very expensive for size of the book and a couple of printing errors

Great to have on your Kindle app on your phone while fishing in England, covers all the major native and non native species, well recommended especially for people just getting into the sport.

This 'book' is an absolute scam. It's not a book, it's a pamphlet. Of course, I didn't look at the size. I never do when buying books though I will in future. While the pamphlet does contain in very limited form what it says, it is so small as to be near worthless. I bought it as a present but then couldn't give it as to do so would have been embarrassing. Horrible experience.

Does not cover all the fish in our local river had to refer to other books to find some but the vast majority are covered
