Review: Attack of the Gnomes - My mum and dad have recently started collecting gnomes for their garden, I saw this and just had to get it. It is perfect, arrived quickly, and is of reasonable size. (I haven't measured it but i would say about 20-25 cm?) They have not placed it outside yet so it's weather resistance is currently unknown, but hey if you don't want it outside it looks great in the kitchen :)

**Q: They indicate this is a "gag gift"? But I am serious about getting this for my garden! Take care of some nasty gnomes.**
A: Completely hilarious gift for a non-traditional gardener. The G-Rex (Gnomeasourus Rex) is 9 1/2 inches tall, which is the same height as the other BigMouth gnome figures. The gnomes on this piece are scaled down to about two inches, maybe a bit longer. They are seen as color spots on some sort of figurine from a distance. When people get within 10-15 feet of G-Rex, they realize that this thing is a Godzilla or dinosaur monster chewing and stomping on gnomes. People usually laugh, a few are horrified.

**Q: Does this withstand the elements well?  Rain, sun, snow, hail....**
A: The one that inspired me to buy one is alive and well on an exposed deck in Colorado. I think I even have a picture of it with snow on it. At least 2 years old, if not more. If you're familiar at all with Denver, you know they get hail, sun, snow, rain. Sometimes in the same hour...  Takes a beating and keeps on eating!

A: The box of the item itself was 10 1/2 h, front side 8 w, other side 7 w,  the shipping box 9 1/2 h, front side 11 w,  other side 8 1/2. I hope this helps.

I bought this as a gift for my sister in law’s garden as an amusing feature. Not the usual garden gnome, to say that she was surprised is an understatement, more horrified! I thought she could hide it amongst her “ greenery “ but she didn’t really appreciate the humour, it was her brother that chose it. Enough to say we all had a very good laugh about it, and she finished up taking it to her grand children the next day. Well worth it.
