With these once and the elastic is non existence in the top so they stretch, loose shape and won’t stay up without garters. The material feels much thinner than other kilt socks I’ve had in the past

Very pleased to have come across these socks. Have bought 6 pairs. Only worn one pair so far & they appear to have washed well at 40 degrees. They are lovely & long - turning over twice at the top on me a 5' 7" woman. They stay up ( so far) if I run. I take size 5 1/2. - 6 shoes & whereas other full length socks end up showing part of the over-large heel just above the heel of my trainers or other shoes, these do not so I can be snugly warm but still look perfectly presentable. Fast service & sent 2 pairs to a friend so hope they too will be pleased. They are not itchy to the skin although they contain some wool. Hope this helps you decide.

Bought to go with kilt for wedding, traditional heavy socks so heavy for a hot day but do the business as great accessory part of Highland dress good quality
