Anyone with naturally curly hair can't live without this.

I have used this product before with great results! However, one of the cans was without a top! Therefore, the mousse in that can doesn't foam up properly and is useless!! Needed to be thrown out!!

Fantastic conditioning & curls. Not sticky and nice subtle fragrance. I use it on wet hair. I allow my hair to dry naturally and comb it through with a wide toothed comb. ( I have naturally slightly wavy hair ). Hair looks brilliant with no effort needed at all. I have also used the product on washed / wet hair before blowdrying with a rounded brush. Excellent results too. I wouldn't use anything else.

It all started with high hopes and sleek packaging. As someone with curly hair, I’m always on the lookout for a good mousse, and this one seemed promising at first glance. Unfortunately, my optimism was short-lived. The trouble began as soon as I dispensed the product. The texture was… odd. At first touch, it felt almost like slime—moldable and strange. But as I rubbed my hands together, it morphed into something caught between liquid and solid, like it couldn’t quite decide what it wanted to be. Then came the smell. Oh, the smell. A harsh, artificial scent hit me like a wall, so strong it felt like my nose hairs were being incinerated. Still, I persevered because I had no backup. After applying it to my hair, I diffused as usual and noticed a stickier-than-usual gel cast. No big deal, I thought. I grabbed my trusty hair oil to break it—except it didn’t work. Some would say I used half my bottle of oil, and still, nothing. The result? Hair that was simultaneously sticky, stinky, dry, and crunchy. My hair looked oily and dry at the same time—a feat I didn’t even know was possible. In the end, this mousse left me frustrated, with wasted product and a lingering scent I’d rather forget. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this one. It’s not worth the hassle.

Great stuff gives me light bouncy curls that last

The mousse itself is fabulous - I’ve got extremely curly hair and this gives beautifully smooth curls with zero frizz. However, the smell is reminiscent of petrol. If they sorted the scent to being much less offensive, I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. As things stand, I prefer not smelling like a garage forecourt so will switch back to John Frieda.
