Like others have mentioned the way this is packaged will mean that either end is bent in such a way that it is difficult to lay flat. You can fix this... I used a small peice of wood that I inserted into the middle cable run. I then sandwiched it between two pieces of wood with some extra weight on top. I used a hot air gun to soften the plastic while sandwiched. Took a few hours in this position with a handful of sessions with the hot air gun. It is a faff, it should be packaged better and not bent, but when fixed it works as you would expect and lays flat.

Works as intended. Cable protection would not roll flat but as instructed within ad, soaking in hot water resolved in a few minutes.Only just installed so cannot comment on lifespan or wear but is good quality overall (for the style/type), quite thick material but not solid plastic. It does not slip or move, use for hot tub power cable and have no concerns at this point. It appears to be good value for money.

Fantastic cable protector, i use it when i need to re-charge my car battery as i don't drive it much at the moment.Slight whinge that you need to cut the cable channels yourself.

The protector was not easy to unroll and flatten from the very tight spiral that it is wound in for transport, the instructions are over optimistic about that process. I suspect that the most inner part would have never straightened, so one should buy a longer run than required and then cut off the bent 30cm or so...There were also brighter "stretch marks" on the cover where it was stressed to roll it up that tight.In the end the product did not suit my need (not because of any of the above!) so I returned it, but if it was suitable for my need I would have happily kept it.

This item has now ripped in multiple places less than 12 months after installing it. It's now just as unsafe and as much of a trip hazard as the cables within it!

Great product, does what it says, very good quality.

It's was good enough to do what I required, it was the largest I could find and has done what was needed, but something to take 2 x 15mm pipes would have been better
