Definitely recommend
Bought to protect our fern tree from frost. It’s easy to cut and good quality. I wrapped it around twice and still have loads left. A good functional frost protection.

My Plants Are Now Warmer Than I Am!
I bought the New Ambassador Frost Protection Plant Fleece (20m x 1m, 17g/m²) because I was tired of seeing my poor garden babies look at me like, “You knew it was cold. Why didn’t you do something?” So I did something. I wrapped them up like leafy little burritos, and honestly? They’ve never looked happier. This fleece is long. Like, “I briefly considered using it as a makeshift scarf” long. You get 20 metres, which is enough to protect my plants, my neighbour’s plants, and possibly half the village if I’m feeling generous. The material is lightweight but surprisingly sturdy—like tissue paper that went to the gym. It lets in light, keeps out frost, and somehow makes my garden look like a tiny horticultural ghost parade. Charming in its own way. The real magic happened after the first cold night: plants that usually droop dramatically at the slightest hint of frost were standing tall like, “Is that the best you’ve got, winter?” I swear one of my tomato plants flexed at me. It’s also incredibly easy to cut, wrap, and secure. Even I managed it, and my previous attempts at garden DIY have included accidentally tying myself to a shrub. Final verdict: Fantastic value, super practical, and my plants are thriving like they’re on a spa retreat. If your garden needs a winter blanket, this is the one. Highly recommend—even if your plants get warmer treatment than you do.

Great value for money
This frost protection is very versatile and cover's well. Roll capacity could be larger.

Anti frost covering
It works but it is so flimsy you have to put two or three layers on the plant.

Used to cover lawn after overseeding
I bought this primarily after watching Daniel Hibbert (YouTube) covering some of the lawns he was working on to avoid birds eating all the grass seeds, but also to limit debris from nearby trees while the overseeded lawn gets re-established. Having had both of these problems in the past I decided to give this a go. This fleece is permeable, so lets the water through and will help to trap heat, warming the soil and aiding with germination. I did get some water pooling on top, although it did soak through after a while. I understand that after using these a few times that should improve, but if you want to improve the situation sooner you can spray it with a wetting agent before watering - I didn't have this to hand and didn't want to wait to order some, so I skipped it. This fleece is quite thin, it did tear fairly easily when I wasn't being overly careful while putting the ground staples in place, and I tore a few areas when removing it as well, so there are some pieces I can't directly reuse, but I suspect I will be able to reuse the majority of the rolls purchased. I can't say we had staggering results due to the cooler temperatures this year, but it certainly kept the birds off and after a quick blast with the leaf blower, most of the tree-related debris was easily collected up without having to get the rake out, so overall I'm quite pleased.
