Bought this brush after hearing such good things. This really is an excellent brush. Sadly the 4 was out of stock, but this size 2 holds water and has a really sharp point, Great for detailing, but holds a lot of water too, if you need a larger coverage. I have been adding details like whiskers etc, and it’s sharp every time. It’s as good as I’d heard it was.

From size 6 and up, those are excellent paint brushes in my opinion (I own a few : 2-4-6-8-10-20).But the smaller sizes are disappointing.I'm painting hand lettering so I need brushes that are great enough to allow control, especially in smaller sizes.Sizes 2 and 4 aren't at all as pointy as their larger counterparts. They leave triangular marks, like cheaper brushes would.It also seems like there is so few hairs that it can't keep its shape well. Definitely not as well as the largest ones.This one also lost some of the black coating in its first few weeks of being used which was very disappointing too.As an alternative, I'm very happy with Windsor and Newton Series 7 brushes for smaller sizes. They are pricier but worth it : they have very pointy ends and keep their shape well. It's a pleasure to write and paint with them.
