How wide is the mounting bracket for the 3 foot board?

I am concerned about the review that said "large gashes" showed up almost immediately. Has anyone else noticed this?

Hi, we understand your concerns. Our giant dartboard is made of heavy-duty 1/2 inch thick cork board making it extremely durable. We recommend exercising caution when removing the darts as wiggling or ripping out the darts can cause over-sized holes or marks to occur. We recommend cleanly removing the darts by placing one hand on the board to stabilize it and using your other hand to slowly remove the dart from the board. If you have an exceptionally difficult dart, small rotations to remove it can be helpful. These will ensure proper removal and a clean board without large marks. Can this be mounted to a tripod?

Hi, due to the size and weight of the dartboard we do not recommend mounting it to a tripod. Our dartboard is designed to be permanently installed on a flat wall by a knowledgeable DIY person or trained professional to ensure proper installation.
