Review of Healthy Energy Drinks In a marketplace flooded with energy drink options that often prioritize taste over health, the emergence of healthy energy drinks marks a refreshing shift towards more nutritious alternatives. This review explores the benefits, ingredients, and overall effectiveness of healthy energy drinks, as well as some standout brands that have earned their place in this evolving category. Ingredients Matter The hallmark of a healthy energy drink lies in its ingredients. Instead of the excessive sugars and synthetic additives commonly found in traditional energy drinks, health-conscious options typically boast natural sweeteners, vitamins, electrolytes, and botanical extracts. Common ingredients include green tea extract, guarana, yerba mate, and ginseng, all of which offer a natural source of caffeine and other health benefits. Additionally, many brands incorporate B vitamins, which play a crucial role in energy metabolism. Health Benefits One of the most significant advantages of healthy energy drinks is their ability to provide sustained energy without the crash associated with high-sugar counterparts. Natural sources of caffeine not only boost alertness but also improve focus and cognitive function. Moreover, many healthy energy drinks are formulated with antioxidants that combat oxidative stress, ultimately promoting overall well-being. Consumers are increasingly drawn to these products for more than just energy; they seek functional benefits that support an active lifestyle. Whether it’s hydration, enhanced athletic performance, or immune support, healthy energy drinks often serve multiple purposes, making them versatile choices for a wide range of audiences. Taste and Variety Taste has always been a crucial factor in the beverage industry, and healthy energy drinks are no exception. Many brands have made significant strides in developing flavors that rival their conventional counterparts, using natural fruit extracts and herbs to create delicious options. From refreshing citrus blends to rich berry flavors, the taste profiles of healthy energy drinks are diverse, ensuring that consumers find something they enjoy without compromising their health goals. Brands to Consider Several brands have emerged as frontrunners in the healthy energy drink market, delivering on both taste and nutritional value: Runa: Known for its clean ingredients, Runa offers energy drinks infused with guayusa, a leaf native to the Amazon rainforest that provides a smooth, balanced caffeine boost. Karma Wellness Water: This drink focuses on hydration and wellness, incorporating probiotics and vitamins without any added sugars. Karma offers a variety of flavors that are refreshing and guilt-free. CELSIUS: With its blend of natural caffeine from green tea, guarana, and important vitamins, CELSIUS provides a clean energy boost with a variety of delicious flavors to choose from. Zevia: With a line of zero-calorie energy drinks sweetened with stevia, Zevia offers a healthy alternative that doesn't skimp on taste. Their flavors are broad-ranging, appealing to fans of classic soda and unique blends alike. Conclusion Healthy energy drinks are reshaping the landscape of the beverage industry by offering consumers a compelling alternative to traditional energy drinks. With their focus on clean ingredients, functional benefits, and great taste, these drinks cater to the growing demand for better-for-you options that enhance performance without sacrificing health. As consumers become more savvy about what they put into their bodies, it’s clear that healthy energy drinks will continue to grow in popularity—offering a revitalizing jolt that aligns with a modern and health-conscious lifestyle. Whether you need a pre-workout boost or an afternoon pick-me-up, these beverages are certainly worthy contenders on the shelves.

It's About Time I Wrote A Review
I'm sat here currently ordering my next batch of this energy drink. I originally came across this drink in a store, and for a long time before (and I still do) I bought the 4 pack in person, but let me just check how many times I've ordered this online...8 times since 2022. There we go. Now, as this is an energy drink I'm not going to say why YOU should order it, because I kinda don't really like energy drinks as a "thing" because they're very unhealthy. BUT I will say why I keep buying this stuff. So, I used to drink other energy drinks way back - 10 years ago now. Not all the time, but I was in university and well...if you've been to uni, you'll get it. I didn't love them at the time, but I would drink Redbull and Relentless when needed. I tried Monster once...never again - that stuff is lethal. I remember the other brands would fill me with energy and make my heart race, but Monster made me twitchy and heightened all my worst habits. I'd probably end up in hospital now if I had a Monster. Maybe a Relentless too. Which brings me to why began drinking Tenzing... In 2017 (I think, going back a while now) I started to develop a heart arrythmia. It's benign - fine! Won't kill me. But it did effect my quality of life. At that time, it only happened a few times. It started when I was working nights and after I'd developed, after many years of wishful thinking, a taste for coffee. I was working nights, and had just got into the hang of making cool froth designs on my coffee, when it started. It happened whilst I was on shift. My work had to call 111 for advice as to what to do and I was quickly referred to a hospital (I wasn't taken in as it wasn't an emergency - but it certainly felt like it). This sorta continued for a while after, as I still drank coffee and absolutely loads of cola. Maybe a few weeks. It would happen and completely ruin my day. I began to realise caffeine was causing this. So I quit! I was working nights and I quit! I didn't drink anything caffeinated for 4-5 years after. Gosh...felt longer than that. But the arrythmia went away and I forgot about it. In 2020, it came back. Most likely due to the stress of the pandemic. I was so upset as it came back worse than ever and I wasn't drinking caffeine anymore. Cut to today, and I still get it, but I'm far better at dealing with it now and I understand it's normal, everyone gets it just some of us feel them whilst others don't. Even so, for a long time I wanted to drink caffeine again, but of course, I didn't want to trigger my heart and caffeine is a trigger. I was so scared to drink caffeine. But then I came across this drink... I actually don't think I realised it had as much caffeine in it as it does when I bought it - I don't think I even thought it was an energy drink. I just saw natural caffeine and thought it would be a safe alternative - a bit like those drinks that are cram full vitamins and exotic ingredients, claiming they'll give you a natural boost. And guess what, it was safe. Had no issues! I then discovered it was an energy drink and was gobsmacked. This really helped my confidence. But that would also explain why I was slowly becoming addicted to the thing. So, that's my word of caution, this stuff is addictive. I make a conscious effort not to buy it too often. I got to a point where I felt I couldn't focus without it, which obviously wasn't true. I limit myself to 1 a day when I have it. I think if I have it for long periods of time it can aggravate my heart a little, but I can't say that for sure as that could be chance as, like I said, this is my new normal now. The flavour is delicious! Just the flavour alone puts me in the right frame of mind. And there's something about fizzy drinks that just wakes up the senses. It's a low sugar drink (in comparison to other sodas/energy drinks), as most of it is sweetener. It's just really satisfying. The one con is that this stuff is expensive. Especially if you buy the smaller packs in person. It's cheaper (most of the time) to buy it here. Sometimes though there's no difference in price as the price fluctuates. So to summarise: - Energy drinks aren't good for you. But if you're going to drink one, drink this one.

TENZING Natural Energy Drink, Lime & Mint - A Natural Boost for Night Shift Workers
The TENZING Natural Energy Drink in Lime & Mint offers a genuinely refreshing take on the energy drink market, distinguishing itself with its plant-based, vegan, and gluten-free formulation. For those of us navigating irregular work hours, it provides a clean, natural energy lift without the jitters associated with synthetic alternatives found in local shops. Key Features & My Experience Natural Ingredients: The drink uses natural caffeine derived from green coffee and green tea, blended with energising elements like Himalayan Rock Salt and lemon juice. This ingredient transparency is a major plus, especially when given my concerns about high caffeine, sugar, taurine, and potential negative cardiac effects of consuming conventional energy drinks. Night Shift Performance: As a regular night shift worker, this drink has become my secret weapon against the dreaded 3 am slump. I appreciate not having to eat during my shift to manage digestive issues; the drink provides the necessary boost without the heaviness of food. Improved Alertness & Clarity: I have consistently noticed improved alertness and mental clarity within 30 minutes of starting to drink it, which is vital for focus during the wee hours. The energy boost felt sustained and smooth, avoiding a harsh crash later in the day. Electrolyte Benefits: When temperatures run higher in my work environment, the electrolytes from the Himalayan Rock Salt are fantastic. I've specifically noticed less muscle cramping while staying hydrated. Refreshing Flavour Profile: The combination of natural lime and garden mint provides a crisp, invigorating taste that is not overly sweet, making it highly palatable, even at 3 am. It smells and taste a but like a Mojito, though it is far less sweet. Health & Eco-Conscious: It is free from artificial sweeteners, colorings, and preservatives, and TENZING operates as a carbon-negative company, appealing to health- and environmentally-aware consumers. Value for Money: The down side of this product Is the high price point. I have noticed the price of a multi-pack creeping up this year. However, I appreciate the convenience of having a healthier, ready-made energy drink to sip during a busy shift and am therefore prepared to sustain the cost for the moment. Final Verdict For those seeking a healthy, natural, and tasty energy boost - especially essential workers needing reliable performance during night shifts—TENZING's Lime & Mint variant is an excellent choice. Its clean ingredients, lack of artificial additives, and functional benefits like improved alertness and electrolyte replenishment make it a standout product that addresses common concerns about traditional energy drinks. Overall Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5 stars) - Because Tenzing provides invaluable support for my night shift routine.

worth the money
I’ve tried quite a few energy drinks over the years, but Tenzing really stands out. It gives me a clean, steady boost without the jittery feeling or crash afterward. I love that it’s made with natural ingredients like green tea and Himalayan rock salt—it actually feels good for you, not like you're just chugging chemicals. The taste is light, slightly citrusy, and not overly sweet, which I appreciate. It’s also vegan and low in calories, which fits well with my lifestyle. I’ve even started using it before workouts or long hikes, and it gives me the stamina without feeling heavy. Also, major props to Tenzing for their sustainability efforts—fully recyclable cans and carbon labeling are a huge win in my book. Highly recommend if you want an energy drink that’s healthier, tastier, and better for the planet! not to badly priced either i like the look of the design

Fantastic
I adore these drinks, they really give me a cognitive boost when I hit a wall. Great tasting, great value, and as healthy as you can get for an energy drink. Tenzing customer service is excellent, too.

Energy drinks that make you keep going and going!
A bit of background: I've tried all sorts of energy drinks over the years, from massive cans of Monster to Red Bull to some really obscure Polish brands, but each and every one of them had the same general problem - they're packed full of sugar or sweeteners with a bit of caffeine and a few vitamins. You get a boom of energy from them, but it doesn't really last, and will wear off quickly, and I find that they tended to stimulate my appetite and make me go snacking as well. These ones, on the other hand, don't actually have that much sugar in them: the back of the can lists 19 calories and 4.5g of sugar per 100ml - as the product is actually 250ml, that means 47 calories a can and 11.25g of sugar per can. That's very good for an energy drink, and it shows in what it does: counting more on a bit of caffeine and a variety of vitamins, the boom you get from a can of Tenzing isn't a sugar rush, but a surge of *actual* energy, burning hotter and for longer than sugar does...and without the crash that you can get from other energy drinks. I've tried a lot of energy drinks over the years, but this is perhaps the only one that I've found with this kind of ability - if you're in the market for a drink like this for whatever purpose, whether it be for exercise, work or just for a little kick up in the morning, this is probably the best one on the market today. My only complaint is about the flavor - the lack of sugars can make it seem a bit bitter at first, but you get used to it after a while. Consider checking out the alternative flavors if this one isn't up your alley.

I'm out
Been a fan of Tenzing for years. I've been buying a couple of multipacks every month, but the price just keeps on growing every other month... we're far beyond inflation now. I hope the team can be transparent as to why (unless they're experimenting with the market). So that's gonna have to be it for me unfortunately. Great drink otherwise.
