The lead is strong (my dogs are small but pull like a freight train!) & it doesn't tangle so works really well. Tried out with a fixed lead for my 2 small dogs and was really pleased by how well it works. I decided to buy the elasticated dual lead type instead of the one with separate adjustable straps to give more flexibility. I was concerned that 1 of my dogs would pull the other along when they were fastened together as theyve never had this, but this didn't happen. Also when the leads are in the relaxed / gathered position there is no excess to trail on the floor or trip over and when one dog pulls forward my main lead takes the pull and the other dogs part of the lead stays relaxed. It really is perfect for my dogs. I'm going to try it with 1 extending lead next which may not have the same effect.
