I purchased this for a gift for my husband for his birthday. The sharpness is wonderful, the durability and rust resistance will have to prove itself in the long run but I don't think that I have any worries that those things will happen. The weight feels good and balanced and the value is unbeatable. My husband refuses to to store this knife anywhere but on his side while he is grilling so I won't know the storage capacity at all, probably ever!

Looks great and very sharp. Cuts well.

Not only is this knife gorgeous, but it is so easy to use! Easy to grip in your hand, and to use to cut meats of all sizes and thickness. It feels well made, very durable and totally worth the money! Looks and feels expensive. My favorite kitchen tool. Looks even better than the pictures!

Razor sharp and beautiful

Looks nice but it came very dull . I purchased expecting it to be nice and sharp .

I was looking for a boning knife and came across this. Bought it on a whim (that next day delivery gets me every time) then read the reviews. Almost canceled my order but it was already preparing for shipping. Figured what the heck, let's see what happens. Just like other reviewers said, it was coated in goopy stuff. But i had no issues getting it off, because I know a thing or two ;) Sprayed it with baking spray and let it sit for an hour or so, then took some 0000 steel wool and scrubbed it right off. This had the added benefit of smoothing down the etching edges a bit. A few swipes through my 3 stage knife sharpener and i had at it with some chicken legs i cooked for my dogs. I also had some swiss cheese to add to their food. This gorgeous knife made short work of both things, even when i alternated. I had zero issues with control, and was able to 'feel' the bones to cut around them. Just needed a little love, that's all. Looks sexy on my knife block, and it will likely be my go to knife until i get the next new one LOL. I will update my review if any rusting ot other disappointment occurs. I paid full price and i pull no punches with my reviews, fyi.
