I've tried a few brands, and this is my favourite. I'd consider it one of the better tasting spirulinas, you're not going to find a good one! Blends well and has lots of health benefits.

Amazing energy booster. This has become my regular spirulina brand based on price and it comes from Mongolia. Whilst it doesn’t blend as smoothly and the taste is not as another popular and more expensive brand I used to use, It s fine mixed with 1 tablespoon of lemon and 3/4 beaker of warm water. Swished down in a few gulps the taste is bearable and less ‘earthy’. I have noticed if I miss drinking this for a few days, my energy levels slump and fatigue sets in rapidly.

There is something really wrong with this product. From the texture to the colour to the smell to the taste. The texture is glutenous, does not dissolve and instead congeals into lumps and then sticks to everything. The colour looks as it should when it’s in powder form but it turns from a dark nearly black to a bright blue on dilution. The smell is odd bordering on chemical. And the taste is like stale sour rice. I am not a novice to Spirulina. I actually enjoy the taste. It is very distinct and this product doesn’t taste like any variety I’ve ever had before. I seriously question the contents and the validity of what’s listed in the ingredients.

The solution to pollution is dilution. Id recommend a litre to make 3 scoops palatable. Is tested "twice annually" standard practice? I hope so . . .

Honestly, I don't use this regularly enough to know whether it's making any difference to my overall health. I bought this as I recently became a strict vegetarian so I wanted to make sure I was getting an extra dose of all the good stuff. It smells horrible and doesn't taste good either. I usually mix a teaspoonful in a smoothie but I find it really overpowers any other flavours, and turns smoothies (or anything you mix it with) a very dark green. It's a superfoid though so it must be doing something good, right??
