My toddler has been playing with this item rather roughly and it has lived up to its claims. It has been stomped on, sat on, and dropped (with and without the legs) but still shows no signs of wear and tear. Of course, it is not indestructible, so still care for the item appropriately. The multi-color magnetic sketchings are visible but the yellow is the least so. I imagine that that's because it's yellow. The legs are easy to remove and then reinstall making its use versatile and storage/travel easier when needed or desired. Just make sure you pay attention to the angle of the legs when twisting them back on to ensure the threads line up correctly. The edges are rounded, so we haven't had any injuries while using this product. As long as the child can sit up and hold the attached pen, it's suitable for younger children. It is mostly plastic, so it's lightweight but surprisingly durable.

Good for the price for a beginner. Not all black lines, it’s got different colors under the surface I noticed. The lines start to disappear after a minute which is fine because my daughter is only 15 months old. This is good for a beginner. No batteries needed. Will be great in the car. So choking hazards, the feet come off, so that’s a plus. The pen is attached with a sturdy string and has a holder for it, handle on back for ease if you want to hold onto it or attach it to something easily.

This is super cute and perfect for little kids without the mess of colored markers and crayons. My toddler loves drawing lines and circles on it. It’s fun and lightweight that kids can easily carry it around

I bought the Kikidex Magnetic Drawing Board (Dark Blue) for my 18-month-old grandchild. The board itself seems well-made — lightweight, colorful, and easy to erase. However, he wasn’t that interested in using it to draw. He mostly tried to sit on it like a little chair 😅. I think the legs on this version may make it less intuitive for younger toddlers. We have a similar board without legs, and he actually doodles and erases a little on that one. Even then, he doesn’t hold attention for very long. I think this toy might be better suited for toddlers closer to 2–3 years old who can engage with it more consistently. It’s a nice, durable idea — just may depend on your child’s age and interest.

Super cute. Its small but I actually like that because it's portable. My niece really like it and plays with it often. Shes 2 and leaning how to draw and we also go over letters etc. Great toy for the price.
