Great value for money

5 stars if you already have a EU-UK adapter. I was surprised to find on opening that this product does not have a UK 3pin plug. Fortunately I had an adapter to hand. If you don't, or you want to take your adapter with you when you go on Holiday, It's probably worth paying the extra for an exo-terra lamp. That said both of my exo-terra lamps have broken, hence buying this lamp. I'll update if this one doesn't make it.

Returning. It does not mention that this is an 2 pin EU plug and not 3 pin UK. Even with an adaptor it does not work as vaultage is too high for the adaptor.

Plug is not a UK 3 pin but a 2 pin polarised socket. Can still be used with an adapter, but i'm not going out of my way to buy one just to use it. Have paid for an alternative

Does not work at all waste of my money

I was extremely skeptical about this lamp since it has such a wide range of ratings but so far, I have zero complaint about it. When used with the ZooMed 100W CHE bulb and Zilla thermostat it works perfectly well. It emits heat, obviously the lamp shade will be hot so just don't touch it and you'll be fine. I put it directly on top of a wire cage and even the wire area of the cage's roof right around it isn't hot, just a tiny bit warm like someone had been laying on it. I'm not sure why the extreme love/hate relationship exists among the reviews, but so far I'm really happy I took the chance on this product. My hedgehog is super stoked about the heat source and doesn't seem overwhelmed or too toasty. It's fantastic!

Ho acquistato questo porta lampada per i miei Uccellino che necessitava di avere una luce almeno per quattro ore al giorno la lampada è molto efficace. Lo consiglio.

The lamp works as intended and heats the ceramic bulb for my terrarium quite well. Will buy again if the need shows itself.

Positive: Great quality! Easy to turn on and off! Does what it needs to, shine a bulb on my turtles! Negative: It is not very well put together. It definitely won't fall apart on you but you can shake the lamp and see the parts shake. If that makes sense. Everything is not tightly put together. But that is not an issue with me! It works fine and doesn't break.
