WILDROOT works! Amazing addition to my everyday gardening...
I discovered Wildroot one year ago and swear by the incredible root development of my plants! It is unbelievable. Many of my plants that have been in containers without issue became root-bound with Wildroot! I’ve battled the extreme heat of Houston summers that never allowed my agapanthus to thrive. I have a 35’ stretch of East-facing bedding area that sits between house and driveway. Three years ago, my husband and I planted agapanthus plants down the entire run. In spring, they did great, however, once summer settled in, the plants struggled and many died. The following fall, I replaced more agapanthus where plants died. In spring, they did great like before. Come summer, we lost more plants. I live in Houston and summers are brutal. About 2 years ago, I went all organic in yard and constantly research products that I can add to my organic gardening and lawn care. Last spring, I came across mychorrhizal products and thought I would give Wildroot a try. I applied Wildroot to existing agapanthus plants and sprinkled in hole when planting replacements. Everything was great in spring, however, summer months killed several agapanthus yet again. More research and have realized what is hurting the agapanthus is the reflective heat specific to this particular area and agapanthus arent able to tolerate full sun, in Houston, with this level of reflective heat. Well, spring again and have decided to dig up remaining agapanthus and relocate. Historically, the agapanthus in this area suffered from shallow and weak root development. Yesterday, I struggled to dig these suckers up!!! The roots are crazy! Wow. I was a believer before, but now? I’m so enthusiastic that I wanted to get my review onto Amazon ASAP. If you are on the fence, just buy it! You’ll be happy you did.

The Best!
This works great! My front yard was redone in California Native plants and this stuff is amazing! In the yard and in pots. It really works-I had brown failing plants in pots in my backyard and after watering with this the next day they were turning green! I wish I would have taken before and after pictures. It is helping my natives in the front yard too, but I have been cautious about putting too much because it has been so hot. I used in my Ross deep root feeder and things are perking up. I noticed the top of my Australian willow seemed to have the very top leaves dying and a week after watering with the deep root feeder and the wildroot I can see new growth on the branches that were not there before! I highly recommend-this really does work-it is a little pricy but well worth it!

This stuff is fantastic-highly recommend!!
I purchased this product because the ‘mow-and-blows’ have been blowing away the leaves and top soil for years in this Western Oregon yard without adding back any mulch, topsoil or organic materials. So fall 2023 I told the mow-and-blows to leave the leaves on the dirt (just blow the sidewalk and driveway only!) and I added a top layer of 4inches of wood chips from tree companies to start adding back nutrients, retain moisture, in order to improve the native clay soil and existing tree health. In Feb 2024 I planted several 1 gallon sized native shrubs, trees, and perennials without this mix. They did ok but didn’t do much. Then in March 2024 I bought more 1 gallon native plants and started adding this mycorrhizal mix each time I planted a planted. Following package directions I added a teaspoon of the powder to one gallon of water, stirred, then soaked each 1 gallon plant in it for 5-10min before planting them into the native clay ground. Both Feb and March native plants are situated in the same area, with the same light, same amount of water, using the same planting technique, and in the same soil with woodchips on top. (I did not add any kind of artificial or natural fertilizer, as its not recommended for native plants.) The only difference was inoculating the March plants with this mycorrhizal mix. Wow! I really see a difference in amount of growth, size of leaves and overall health of the March plants this fall! The mycorrhizal strains really help the plants take up water and nutrients! So much in fact as soon as the ground softens from fall rains I’m taking a skewer and stabbing holes in the ground around the Feb plants’ roots to deliver some mycorrhizae to their roots as well! If your garden has been treated with harsh chemicals/pesticides/herbicides/fungicides and/or had just ‘mow-and-blow’ maintenance for years, the soil is now very depleted even with fertilizing, so I’d recommend using this product to bring back balance and health to specific plants! It’s pricey, so I use it judiciously on individual plant roots; I don’t recommend broadcast watering with this. You want these beneficial mycorrhizae on the roots of your desired shrubs and perennials, not on top of the ground for all the weed seeds to use! Pricey but it goes a long way-I’ve planted many dozens of plants with the small bottle of it now, and am buying more for winter planting. It’s very worth it!

Good product.
Did not see crazy results or growth. But overall seems good. I just think there are better performing products for cheaper on Amazon though.

Small bag with BIG results
The tiny bag I received in the mail had me worried, I thought it wouldn't be big enough to rescue my ailing plants that appeared to be dying quickly. But it was and I have plenty left over. It comes with a tiny scoop for measuring. I used an old milk gallon container and it was super easy. This product was everything it promised to be. I am not a good farmer, but inherited a garden of plants that started dying no matter how much I watered them. Apparently I was over-watering and caused root rot. I used this on every plant as directed and the next morning it was an amazing transformation! I only lost one plant, which was pretty much dead when I did the treatment, while the others were quickly following its downward trajectory. This product saved my plants from certain death. Now, almost a week later, the entire garden has stopped with the yellowing leaves, everyone has perked up and all look happy. I have since adjusted my watering schedule to probably under-watering, just to be safe, and the plants are maintaining their great health. I am amazed at the level of revitalization. It's like magic. Thank you!
