Far too expensive and comes without cable
If you don't have the cable that came with your mouse, you are in trouble scandalously, comes at this extortionate price without the cable to make it work If you lost the one that came with your mouse, you're going to be ripped off for another one Does it do a good job ? Yes Is it worth the money ? No Should it be free with your mouse? Yes Would I recommend it at £20 less, yes it is ridiculously overpriced for what it is This is old tech it's not innovative like a chargeable mat

Clean and simple and effective.
I am so pleased I bought this puck aas it makes keep my mous ein power a breeze. No need to buy the Razer charger as you can just place your mouse on the same charger you use for your mobile phone or in my case smart watch

Overpriced but great quality of life upgrade
This is very expensive for what it is but it makes charging your mouse a none issue. Plug it into a usb port that has power after pc gets shut down and charge it overnight. One issue is that the usb port on the dock, which is intended for your mouse dongle, is useless for said purpose. Using this port I get frequent mouse disconnects with my death adder v2 pro which are fixed by plugging the dongle into the system itself. Annoying but the only issue with the product.

Perfect.
This is great quality, bought because razor gave us a plastic non functional puck with the mouse we just bought! It's great value for money, and does what it's supposed to do, easy to hook up and get going. You can't see it and the fit is perfect. Great product just wish it was provided with the mouse.

Razer Dock Chroma Review – 3/5
The Razer Dock Chroma is a great idea on paper but frustrating in execution and massively overpriced. At £55, it’s hard to justify paying so much for what is essentially a basic charging stand with RGB lighting. Realistically, this should be a £20 accessory at most. Pros: ✔ Charges Reliably – When Used – The dock does its job once the mouse is properly placed on it. ✔ Nice Aesthetic – It looks sleek and fits well into a Razer Chroma setup, making it a visually appealing addition to your desk. ✔ RGB Lighting – If you’re invested in Razer Chroma, the dock’s lighting is a nice touch—when it works correctly. Cons: ❌ Annoying to Dock the Mouse – The dock doesn't use magnets, just two small charging pins, meaning you have to manually align the mouse perfectly every time. It’s more fiddly than it should be, and if you're slightly off, the mouse won’t sit properly. Over time, I found myself getting frustrated and just plugging in a cable instead, which completely defeats the purpose of the dock. ❌ Chroma Sync Issues – The dock has built-in colour indicators that override custom settings. For example, it turns amber when the mouse is low on battery, and as far as I can tell, there’s no way to disable this. If you want perfect RGB synchronization, expect to be frustrated. ❌ Painfully Overpriced – The dock alone costs £55, which is absurd for what it actually does. For a product that offers nothing beyond charging and RGB, £20 would be far more reasonable. Worse still, when factoring in the extra cost of going wireless (~£100 for the mouse + dock versus a wired alternative), the whole setup starts to feel like a complete waste of money. Verdict: The Razer Dock Chroma is a nice-looking but fundamentally flawed accessory. While it charges reliably, the lack of magnetic alignment, annoying Chroma sync issues, and absurd pricing make it more frustrating than it’s worth. At £55, this is a total ripoff. If it were £20, it might be a decent convenience upgrade, but as it stands, you're better off saving your money and just using the charging cable instead.

Expensive paperweight
So a while ago my Razer Naga 2014 started to double click on certain numbers. Me, being the loyal brand-snob that I am, decided it's time for a new mouse (it lasted over 7 years!) and bought the Razer Trinity Pro. Now, this review isn't for that, it's for the dock. So do I recommend the dock? Yes. Definitely, if you have £60 to blow on a very pretty paperweight. It's infinitely better than charging using the cable as all you have to do is put the mouse on it. Easy. As for the chroma function, I've set it up to do the same as my mouse, just on a delay so they aren't synchronised. You can do loads more, but I won't lie, it doesn't really matter to me. What's the bad part?! Forgetting to use the thing. I can't count the amount of times I've had to unplug the cable from the dock to attach it to the mouse, because I with my short term memory, cannot remember to charge a mouse when it is literally glowing red... Obviously this is more user error than a fault of the dock, and was easily solved by a perfectly placed post-it note.
