A wonderful book.While waiting for the sumptuous legacy from the terribly rich, recluse great-aunt which will allow us to purchase rooms with a view over water in the romantic, refined and intense city that is Venice, we may peruse these pages on Venetian interiors that turn out to be both fascinating and unexpected. Not to be hurried over, as there is as much pleasure in the general effect of the photographs, as in the details captured in them. Much recommended.

A delightful hardback book, with heavy quality paper and high production standards.Evocative full page pictures of Venetian interiors, private houses and churches.There is too little text accompanying each featured interior.This book beautifully interprets the sumptuous, dream-like Venice we all crave.
