This heater is perfect for our 55 gallon aquarium. You just set the temp and forget about it. It does all the work itself. Great function! The black blends right in with the aquarium decor so it’s not that noticeable. Very easy to set up. Anything that makes my life easy is a great value!

I got this heater to replace one that I had for several years in a 75 gallon freshwater tank. I received it quickly and it works as described. It installed quickly and easily. The suction cups on the back seem like they'll hold up pretty well. I like that you can control the settings without reaching inside the aquarium and that it shows the water temperature as well. I've had this for a couple of days and so far it is working well. I haven't noticed any issues. I will come back and update this if I do within the next month or so. The only thing that would make this better would be to include some sort of holder that could attach to the outside of the aquarium for the controller. That's just my suggestion and not enough to take a star off for.

After trying a number of heaters and struggling to keep a steady water temperature I am so glad I tried this heater! The fluctuating water temp was taking over my life. I couldn't relax about it. I live in northern Wisconsin and it gets cold up here. This heater has preformed great so far. It was -6 last night and we do turn the heat down in the evenings. It keeps the temp steady. I love it!

This is a necessity for fish tanks. It's so easy to use, it's digital so you don't have to guess with the stickers on the glass, I love how long the plug is so I'm able to hide it behind the tank, this heats up my tank so quickly, and it's been used for 2 years now- I bought another tank and ended up buying this item to use for that tank too. Great buy!

Great heater for big tanks — works like a charm! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ I got this HiTauing 500W heater for my 90-gallon tank, and it’s been doing a great job so far. It heats the water quickly and keeps the temp super steady, which my fish definitely appreciate. The digital display is really handy—easy to read, and I like that it shows both the current temp and the one you’ve set. Setting the temp is simple, though you do have to reach into the tank to do it since there’s no external controller. Not a huge deal, but worth noting. It feels safe too. It has auto shut-off and overheat protection, which is nice for peace of mind. I actually tested the safety shut-off by pulling it out of water for a second (carefully), and it turned off like it’s supposed to. The suction cups hold pretty well for now, though like all of them, they might need adjusting over time. The 8-foot cord is awesome—plenty long even if your outlet isn’t right next to your tank. It’s a little bulky, but honestly, for a 500W heater, that’s expected. It’s hidden behind some plants, so I don’t mind. Bottom line: If you’ve got a 75-120 gallon tank and want a solid, no-fuss heater that does its job, this is a great pick. Would definitely recommend!

Works well

Purchased a total of 4 of these. Had a problem with 2 and contacted the company--a year later but within their 2 year warranty. Didn't really expect to get helped after so much time. The 2 malfunctioning heaters would come up to temp and then start blinking an HH error code. The company was excellent to work with and was very professional and helpful. They are sending out 2 replacement heaters as I write. The other 2 heaters have been working great and I would definitely buy again with such superb customer service.

My son in-law suggested I us the Tauing Aquarium Heater in a 4 to 5 gallon bucket with water and place the bucket of water and the aquarium heater in my greenhouse to keep the greenhouse warm during the winter months. I placed the bucket of water and the aquarium heater in the bucket in my greenhouse. It snowed last night and my greenhouse plants are staying nice and warm. Another great idea for the Tauing Aquarium heater.

This is the best heater for my aquarium that I have ever had. I've had all the other big name brands, but this beats them hands down. The ability to control the temperature from the external control box saves the messy job of having to dig into the tank all the time to adjust the temperature. This 500W heater easily copes with my 80 gallon tank & maintains the temperature within 0.3 deg C of the set temperature. The temperature differential of 0.3 deg C means the water temperature remains very stable, unlike other heaters that allow sometimes up to 2 deg C change before activating. Quality of construction seems excellent & if it's reliable over time, it will be an absolute bargain. Hugely recommended.

I have 4 of these heaters (two 200 watt, one 300 watt and a 500 watt) now and so far they work very well. I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the heat, because I use INKBIRD controllers to manage the temperature. But I can say they are a nice size, and seem extremely well built. The suction cups are the best I’ve seen on any heater or other pieces of aquarium equipment. They heat much faster than the previous heaters I was using. The cord length is perfect if you power outlet is a ways away from your aquarium. And the power cord is a heavy gauge wire, unlike a lot of heaters. I’ve only had them running for a couple of weeks, so I can’t say how long they last. But I will update my review if I have any issues or if one of them dies. I’ll likely be buying a couple more 300 watt heaters as well.
