Enjoying clean water - Great system
I always had a whole house carbon block filter in my houses, but this takes clean water to a new level. I run 2 ice makers and the one sink faucet supplied. I added another 5 gallon tank in parallel to the supplied tank so I would not run low on the RO water when filling pots of water for cooking, etc.. Using two tanks actually improves the water pressure at the sink faucet. Was easy to install. I put it in the basement below the sink area so the unit did take up cabinet space.

Water taste clean and refreshing!
Install was a little difficult but that was because of the company who installed my plumbing under the sink. Redid all of that and ran into a leak from the water tank. Replaced the o ring and that solved that issue. Only issue is there is still air in the line and nothing I have tried has gotten it out.

Not worth it!
This is the 2nd. one that I have had. Seems legit me every 6 months or so the system pressure drops and it trickles and I have had problems with the lines leaking. Call company and they replaced the first one and here we are again and no response! This cost to much to have so many problems and then to be ignored.

Initial leaks concerning, but works fine
I've installed 2 of the under sink models in the last 6 months. Both had initial leaks, 4 of them in total. First was the sanitizer attachment to the holding tank. I reinstalled with more turns, thinking initially I had not tightened enough, still leaked, reinstalled for a third time, somewhere in the middle, that has worked so far(6 months). Note the outlet ends up wherever, as loosening or tightening to match the instructions led to leaks for me. I used 8-10 revolutions of the provided teflon tape each time. I don't think the tape does anything. The seal is provideded by the rubber gaskets. 2nd was a leak where the RO tank valve attaches to the sanitizer. Tightened a 1/8 turn, leak stopped. May be operator error, but it's tighter than I would normally put on this type of rubber gasket seal. Again, It ends up pointing wherever, seems much to finicky to adjust so it points down as the manual shows. 3rd was total operator error. The sanitizer cap. Be sure to tighten completely until you reach the positive stop. 4th...Where the quick connect fitting attaches to the faucet. Reinstalled the clear plastic washer multiple times, still leaked, a lot, not a subtle drip. In desperation I tried using one of the black washers left over from the cold tap water adapter package. I think this was to support a 1/2 supply line. That worked first time. I can't see anything wrong with the clear plastic washer and it seemed to fit into the quick connect fitting just fine. Weird I've done quite a bit of DIY plumbing in the last 50 years. I've learned that these rubber gasket type fittings do NOT need to be that tight. Not true for some of these fittings. The tubing behind the filter manifold is not contained in the cavity, tubes are thicker by about 3/8 inch. So the manifold will not hang vertical if you tighten the mounting screws down to lock the manifold in place. I just left the screws out 1/4 inch. The tubes are resting against the wall though, not the best, but doubt it will be an issue. When installing the 1/4 inch tubing to the cold water adapter be sure to force the tubing over the ridge until it hits the stop. Takes a fair amount of force. I put some silicone lubricant on the fitting which seemed to help. No where in the manual does it explain how to operate, or better yet, how the system operates. It goes from installation to maintenance. I realize there is nothing to do really, but a few words on what to expect would be helpful. Note, no water will come out for several minutes initially. Expect some serious spraying as the air gets out of the system during the first 2 tank fill cycles. The manual states a tip to use the drill bit to align the drain saddle while tightening it down. Do not use the 1/4in bit you drilled the hole with. This will damage the quick connect internals if you push it thru. Use a drill be about half the diameter to avoid this. I had to read the sanitization section to find out it can take up to 2hrs for the tank to fill. Since there is no electricity to the unit, no display, which I think is a good thing. The only way to know it's working is to listen carefully for the waste water draining. The leaks at install have me concerned about the long term. However after one unit running for 5months It's worked 100% as advertised. Hope it stays that way.

Good system, but t-valve is trash
The system was easy and clear to setup, really no issue with that. Make sure you use teflon tape and dope the threads. I ended up switching back to the normal VO filter from the +Mineral version because it gave a very slight fishy taste. Aquatru was helpful with that and shipped me out a new filter immediately. Now, with this sytem, they ship you some cheap garbage Chinese t-valve that leaks like crazy. I tried everything to stop this leak, and I am pretty decent with plumbing. It's the pivot point, not the threaded part that was the problem, it is just a trash valve. I replaced it with "1/4 in. Push-To-Connect x 3/8 in. Female Compression x 3/8 in. Compression Polypropylene Valve Fitting" which worked perfect and didn't leak at all. If it wasn't for that valve I would have given it 5-stars.

Leaking in two places
Two parts are low quality, keep leaking. Please send me the two replacements. Updated: refund is completed.

Installation was pretty straight ffwd except one of the valves came broken. The plumber was able to improvise though so all ok. The previous review was correct it can smell fishy but I can barely notice it only if I really try for looking for it but my husband doesn’t like it. Water looks merky but it’s clearly the salts/ minerals that have been added back in. Will update again later. Measurements are true to size. Update: no issues with taste or smell anymore. Tim biohacker got this right :). I bought a nee steel and glass kettle. I was testing it to see if I got limescale but I seem to have a layer of salt building on the bottom of the kettle not limescale would be good to get some more reviews on this.
