I crossed Australia filming 30+ days and use it every single day, with no issues, scratches or anything, I love it and want another one for convenience with my other lenses.

I am using this on my digital with a built-in zoom. I use UV filters to protect the lens - had never used a UV/IR filter before, and I was a bit concerned about its effect when I realized it has slight color reflections in light. However, it is working very well. It certainly hasn't degraded my photos, and I would say it's probably improved them. It's a high quality filter. I recommend it.

The Hoya 77mm HMC UV-IR digital multi-coated slim filter perfectly fits the lens of my Nikon D700. While I haven't yet been able to actually try it out, it came highly recommended to me by a professional. I suspect I won't be disappointed.

This IR cut filter eliminated the magenta tone on the GoPro camera with a modified lens system I hacked together. The original GoPro lens must have had a built in IR cut. Colors are normal again wit this filter.

This is a GREAT product. Even the person who gave it TWO STARS SAYS SO. Can't understand people sometimes. Anyways, I got this to work with my black magic pocket because of IR pollution when using ND. Works like a charm.

Bought for a full spectrum modified infrared camera. Although the filter blocks some of the infrared spectrum it still is letting a lot of IR through. My Kolari IR/UV cut filter working much better.I would go with another brand if using on a full spectrum modified IR camera to use for normal photography

I never gave much importance to the use of filters that was not exclusively to lens protection. However, just to try, I bought a better quality filter. I noticed that the old filter was producing reflex, not avoiding them. I fully recomend the use of filters that have some good quality anti-reflective layers. The price indeed can be very high accordind to the protection level. Due to high price the last star is empty.
