Perfect for anyone bulking up their armies.
I particularly like that this kit has heads resembling Sharpe and Harper, not to mention the Nock gun. A must have for any Napoleonic wargamers or fans of Sharpe.

The wargames atlantic rifles are, without a doubt, the best greenjackets available, bar none. They are wildly customizable and poseable, and are great for both skirmish games and larger scale. They also have a pretty damned accurate likeness of Sharpe, Harper, Hagman, Harris, and Tongue. A little conversion work gets you Perkins and Cooper to finish off the squad. Additionally, they paint up very nicely as portuguese cacedores with rifles, which is largely what I use them for, as the portuguese actually fielded twice the rifles that the british did despite an army a fraction of the size. The plastic is durable and highly detailed, and the price is awesome for such high quality minis, with MSRP at $35, just over $1/mini and often found below that.

I just received this product and assembled two of the sprues last night. First the positive: they are nice figures with good detail and almost no flash. There is one sprue type with enough parts to make 4 figures. You get 8 of these to make up the 32 figures. For Sharpe fans, you even have a 7-barreled Nock gun for use by Sgt. Harper. There are lots of different head variants and several poses. Now the negative: You can only construct one figure in each sprue who is actually firing his rifle. The others are advancing/loading/priming/etc. Also, there is one figure who has a separate lower body and 3 torso types, two of which are for officers. Although you can give this figure an enlisted torso type, he still will have the boots and lower body of an officer. Atlantic would have been better served to have separate officer and enlisted sprues and provided a 6 enlisted/2 officer or 7 enlisted/1 officer mix in the pack with more options for enlisted men firing their rifle. The Nock gun could have been on the officer sprue (fans of the Sharpe novels will know that you would need only 1). Still, they are nice figures.
